open mouth, insert foot. of fucking course i would tell the whole damn room my true feelings, i mean pulling the boy aside and letting him know wouldve been better than blowing up and letting it spill out.

it wasn't necessarily that bad, would totally be okay with me if it were just my friend here, but sophie was there and she was the furthest from the friend category.

"did you just admit to what i think you just admitted to?" ashton questioned, mouth half hanging open, though you could faintly hear him laughing afterwards.

"yes, okay it's true," i sigh, running my hand through my hair, something luke rubbed off on me. "i've had feeling for the dude since we first met, it's silly i know but-"

"so this whole time, you've had a crush on me?" luke asks, a smirk coming to his face. "wow, jay, i can't believe the feelings are mutual."

"how about you all apologize to me?" sophie half whispered, hoping no one heard.

"how about you apologize to jade for creating this mess?" ashton spat at the girl. "oh and to top it off, you come up with a way to fix all of it."

"i'm sorry jade, i really am. i've just always been jealous of your relationship with luke."

"i'm going to say it's okay, but just know never to come around trying to ruin people's lives, because that's not okay in the least bit," she was so lucky i was being forgiving. if it weren't for the fact all the people in the room, i'd RKO her ass real quick. 0-100 real quick.

"also don't mention anything to anyone or something terrible might happen to your career," becca threatened, causing all of us to go wide-eyed.

"uh, well i should go now," sophie says, getting up to leave. "i'm really sorry, especially to you luke."

"honey, you should just leave," el suggested, leading sophie towards the door.

when we all heard the front door open and eleanor tell sophie, "i'll be expecting an email from you, not your manager, by friday afternoon," the room bursted into laughter.

"but was that not the most awkward situation you've ever been on?" calum asked, laughing after every which word.

"totally," i laughed, looking towards luke who was already staring at me. "what?"

smiling, luke says, "nothing."

though out the night, no one brought back up the fact i spilled my true feelings. but to be honest, luke's words kept running through my mind. "wow, jay, i can't believe the feelings are mutual."
