it was two days before our new york show, so of course i had to take jade to on a date before she left back to la. but that was going to be a bit hard, with her being a movie star and me a member of an up and coming band.

so instead of having to deal with a million and two paparazzi following us around, we agreed ordering some room service and spending time in her room was enough for the both of us.

"i still think this is the best idea ever," jade giggled as she moved the plater of food from a cart to the table. "can't wait to dig in."

"same, i feel like the rehearsal kicked my ass," sighing as i fill both glasses up with water and position them in front of the settings.

"i'm glad we did this luke, i miss spending time with you," she stated, placing a kiss on my cheek before sitting. "it's been just about calum and i lately, and it sucks."

"i mean, you are dating him," i joke, making enfaces on dating.

"hush up and pass me the food!"

we ate for what felt like hours, I'm sure we had a little bit of everything for different cultures. spaghetti, fajitas, lo mein, we were for sure going to be sick after this date.

jade had started to pick up her food when i stopped her, telling her i'd clean up afterwards.

"oh what a gentleman," she smirked, grabbing my hand and pulling me in the direction of the couch.

"it sucks that we could never publicly be a couple," i blurt out, regretting letting the words fall out.

no matter how many times we talked about this, we always seemed to get upset at the fact that it was true. last time it resulted in me leaving, blaming her for choosing calum over me in the first place.

"not this again, babe," jade frowns, letting go of my hand and running her hands through her hair, something she had picked up from being around me so much. oops. "i hate this conversation."

"i'm sorry but i can't ever get over it, you have no idea how much i'd rather be the one you're kissing when we're all out."

"luke."

"i'm sorry, really i am, let's just forget i brought it up and do something we'd both enjoy," i say, placing a hand on her cheek.

"and that'd be what?"

"making out, but of course."

i hear the sound of knocking and then jade telling someone to be quite. i slowly get out of bed, trying my hardest to not make a sound.

i crack open the door, i see a sleepy jade and michael sitting in the living room of her hotel, talking low. this was strange, michael up hours before he had to.

"when are you going to tell him, jade?" michael asked, causing me to listen closer, what did she have to tell him?

"i'm not, it's not that serious and after last night, i choose him."

choose me? who else would she choose?

"it's not that easy, you have a feeling for calum, you need to tell luke."
