how was i going to tell them? what exactly would i even say?

hey boys, sorry to break it to yall but i have to break up with cal. which in turn means i'm breaking up with all of you. it was fun while it lasted, kay gotta go.

like no, this was really getting to me and in the worst way possible.

"jade, are you okay?" i was in the car with el, lucky for us she had driven us to the meeting. because my mind was so into thought, i probably would've already crashed into a car or pole.

"to be honest, no. i don't want to end things with calum, that means i'm endings things with the rest."

the car fell silent, el knew how much i adored the boys. she knew they were my best friends, yes she was also one but her being basically in charge of me kind of put a damper on a lot of things. plus i had a lot more in common with the boys and what not.

"can you just drop me off at home?" i asked, eyes fixated on the road ahead. "i just need to be alone for a bit."

"of course, love."

the feeling of my phone vibrating and ringing against my head caused me to jolt awake from my once sleeping state. when i had gotten home there was still light out, but now it was pitch black in what i thought was the living room, all besides my now lit up phone.

"hello?"

"jade! where are you? we've been trying to get ahold of you for hours, are you home?" calum half yelled into my ear, which was the last thing i need or wanted. "we were scared something happened."

sighing, i reply, "yes i'm home and safe."

"is something wrong? something's wrong with her," instead of hearing calum respond, i pin the voice to be michael's. "what did you do, calum?!"

"he did nothing," i laugh at my favorite. "i was asleep and y'all woke me up."

"oh! well is it cool if we head over?" they must've had me on speaker, because this time, it was luke.

"yeah, we can pick up pizza and movies, unless you want something else," ashton suggested (last but certainly not least.)

"you boys can come by, bring mexican instead and bring a guitar, i want y'all to serenade me."

i hear all four boys burst into a laugh, michael responds, "anything for you love, text you when we're almost there."

"be careful and the door will be unlocked so just come in and make yourself comfortable, as per usual."

before i could hang up, i heard calum shout 'love you mami' and a quick 'ouch luke that fucking hurt' right after.

dammit, i was going to miss these boys like crazy. it was going to have to happen tonight, i had to break the news to them. either i did or becca would. they needed to come over.

fuck this feeling.
