fifty-one.

it'd been two months, two months since i left nyc, two months since i last saw or spoke to my best friends. since day one it'd been a strange feeling, i missed them dearly and i hated doing what i did to them, but i need to get out before something else happened.

they tried to get ahold of me many times, but el was always the one they spoke to. "i'll let her know you called" had become a familiar phrase for her, oh and "michael i know you miss her." it constantly broke my heart, especially when news hit that he and chloe were no longer seeing each other. i was a terrible friend, but i did this for myself.

i was currently getting ready for the premiere, el was seated by my side letting me know of everything we had planned up until the second i walked out of the cinema.

"they're going to be here," she spoke, not looking up from here phone. "are you going to talk to them?"

slightly rolling my eyes, i sigh, "probably, i mean people will want to take photos."

standing up i waltz over to my bedroom, where my stylist was rummaging through racks of dresses, we'd been trying to decide on one. but with my mind being preoccupied with the idea of seeing the boys, one in particular, so of course i couldn't decide.

"i say something blue," jj, my stylist's assistant, suggested. "ooh, or maybe red!"

nodding, lee grabbed two dresses, making her way to wear i stood before a standing mirror. "here's these two?"

"i'm thinking that maroon halter dress would be nice," el suggests.

jj rushed over, dress in hand, holding it up to my body, gasping he rejoices. "jay, you'd look bomb as hell in this!"

i quickly change out of my clothes, slipping into the form fitting dress, which hugs me in all the right places, i slip into the black stappy heels jj brought to me; and watch as they add the last details.

stepping back from the group, i turn to look at the once gloomy person to see a diva. i looked so nice, i felt my confidence spike higher than it had gone before. i felt amazing and looked just as good.

"luke's going to wish he never dumped you after tonight," el muttered to me, once everyone walked out.

"good, that's the plan."
