I woke the morning after Rouge's visit and something was wrong. Shadow was nowhere to be found. Shadow was always home by 5am. He left at 7pm and always came back at 5. Why the hell wasn't he home? It was currently 6am.
I hunted all over the house and I even went outside and checked around alittle bit but he wasn't there either.
Finally I called Rouge.
"Hey Hon" Rouge tried to say but I immediately cut her off
"Rouge. Where the hell is my boyfriend?" I snarled into the phone.
Rouge was silent.
"Rouge. Where. Is. Shadow." I snarled again saying each word individually.
"He was captured by eggman. W.O.L.F hurt him really bad and then Metal Sonic showed up and captured him." Rouge explained.
I was silent for a moment while I attempted to not lose my shit. Shadow was captured. This was bad. God damnit.
"Rouge do you think you can babysit Silver for alittle bit?" I asked while summoning my hammer.
"Amy. You are not going up there by yourself." Rouge snapped.
"I'm not. I'm going to give Sonic a call. I mean I'm not going to apologize to him or anything but if friendship is truly his goal then this is the way to make it up to me." I said even as a sour taste entered my mouth. I did not want to make up with Sonic because honestly? He was a total asshole but at the same time Rouge was right. I couldn't do this alone. I needed help and unfortunately for me.. Sonic was help.
"Make it up to you? What did he do? Hon?" Rouge asked curiously.
"He's just a dick. Don't worry about it Rouge. Anyways.. Can you babysit or not?" I asked as I was getting even more nervous now.
"Yes. I can see that you are clearly going to go whether I babysit or not so.. I'm on my way." Rouge told me and then she hung up.
I sighed and then I shook my head because I had nothing to be guilty about. Shadow was practically my husband and he needed my help so that's what I was going to do and so.. I called Sonic.
Annnddd... he didn't pick up. Asshole. Okay. Tails then.
"Amy?" The young fox answered sounding confused.
"Tails. Thank Mobius. Look. I need help and yes I know your all mad at me or whatever but.. Shadow's in trouble. He's injured and eggman has him." I explained while doing my best to keep my cool.
"Eggman has Shadow?" Tails said sounding way more alert now.
"Tails. If that's Amy. Hang up." Snarled Sonic from somewhere.
"Dude. Eggman has Shadow!" Tails told Sonic.
"And? Why should I care? Amy and Shadow can kiss my ass." Sonic snapped.
I took a deep breathe.
"Sonic. Shadow is half alien and do you even.. If eggman gets his blood.. Just bad things okay?" Tails tried to explain.
I just nodded and released the breath I was holding.
"That and.. Sonic. Shadow is a father now. I know you probably don't understand or care but.. Silver. My baby needs his dad. Not to mention.. Shadow is my only income and well. Me and Shadow and Silver are a family. We just need eachother." I said while shaking slightly because I really hoped eggman hadn't done anything to Shadow.
I heard Tails sigh and then Sonic spoke again.
"Exactly. You three are a family. I have nothing to do with it. Shadow being kidnapped by egghead is not my problem." Sonic growled.
