I decided to start with the alphabet.
I sang him the Abc's song a couple of times and had him copy me.
After that came the hard part.
Associating sounds with letters.
I started by writing out the alphabet and we went back and forth on the sounds.
Silver seemed alittle confused but I knew he had the spirit which is why I decided to end our mini lesson on him simply saying the sounds of words in a book.
I was going to hate it when I had to teach him how to write or do the silent letters. Silver had no patience. He was kinda like a freight train.
I smiled. Silver ran back to his room after the lesson and I went to take a nap.
