I was nervous. I wasn't prepared at all for this new place. Although.. If the poo hit the fan I did have my chaos emerald. I had hidden it in my quills right before leaving. Telling mama that I was going to go get dad. Which I did. After I got my emerald.
I mean.. It was just standard procedure and I brought it everytime I went outside. It was an emergency Oh Heck item.
I then put on my brave face before entering the classroom. Now, I had met the teacher a couple days ago.
And honestly? Miss Mary was very nice and apparently had a support Chao. It was a holy one too and I loved it. It made me happy when I saw it. Not alot of people have holy chao and it was the first real one that I ever saw.
I smiled before walking in. "Hi Miss Mary!" I called to the tall green furred one tailed fox and all the other kids just stared at me.
I chose to sit down near.. Nobody. Nuh uh. I mean sure I had seen Rhian the Armadillo and maybe Ocean the Bunny at the park but everyone else? They were rando's.
Luckily for me everyone must of thought the same thing because nobody approached me. I mean. I felt kinda left out but it was fine.
"Alright Children. How about we start by introducing ourselves?" Mary smiled.
One kid immediately stood up before I could and I glared at her.
"Hello! I am Zoey the Cat! I like water." She smiled.
I stood up right after her. Not about to be stood up upon again.
"Hi I'm Silver the hedgehog and uhh I like art!" I squeaked. Crap. I messed up.
Everyone chuckled and suddenly I wished I was literally anywhere else.
As if hearing my thoughts the chaos emerald teleported me to the middle of nowhere.
Fudge!
I immediately kicked a tree out of anger.
"Hey! You!" Called a voice and I turned around to see a purple cat girl staring at me.
"Do you have any idea where I can find someone named eggman?" She questioned.
I shook my head. I had no clue where eggman was.
She sighed.
Then something occurred to me.
"I might know where someone who does know where eggman is though." I told her.
Her golden eyes lit up.
"You do?" She said excitedly.
"Mhmm. Follow me!" I said and then I started marching in a random direction before I realized something.
"I don't think I ever got your name." I told her.
"Blaze." She answered.
"Silver is my name." I told her with a smile.
Blaze nodded and then she frowned.
"You do know you're about to walk into-" She trailed off as I ran right into the tree.
"Oof." I grunted before standing up and rubbing my head.
"I.. Uhhh.. Might not know where I am going." I finally admitted.
Blaze stared at me for a long moment before groaning.
"Hey! Don't worry! My mama or dad or someone will find me soon. They always find me when I get lost." I beamed.
"This.. Happens to you often?" She said with a raised brow.
I nodded. "Constantly."
She groaned again before crossing her arms.
