Silver was officially the dumbest person I had ever met. I mean. Who just charged into battle with no plan!?
I groaned as I fought bot after bot.
My fire powers weren't exactly the most useful thing here and it was annoying.
I growled as I continued to shove my way through.
And then I saw him. Being captured like an idiot.
Uggghhhhh
How was I supposed to get him out?
I frowned.
Which was when I realized something.
This robot. It was being powered by the sol emeralds. I could feel it.
I had to warn Sonic and them.
But how?
I would surely be swarmed if I tried to say something.
I would have to retrieve them myself then.
Sneakily.
I kept close to eggman's bot and I waited until Sonic and his team had him distracted before I swooped in and tore the area where I could sense the six emeralds.
I commanded them to me and then..
I transformed.
And I whooped some tail with Super Sonic.
We made easy work of eggman but didn't kill him and then we obliterated the rest of his robots.
Which was when a voice shouted at me.
"BLAZE! I KNOW YOU KNEW I WAS CAUGHT!" Silver shrieked. Now escaped from the confines of the robot.
Oops.
And then Silver was infront of me with a glare.
Which was also when I realized I was in the air. I had flown up to do some burning attack and errr.. I think I miscalculated.
I trembled.
Silver paused, noticing my sudden fear. "Blaze are you okay?"
"N.. no.. I don't like heights.." I whined.
Silver gently grabbed my hands and brought me down.
"Thanks Silver." I mumbled.
Which was when Sonic went back to normal and the chaos emeralds teleported away. Same with me and the sol emeralds. They went back home.
"Well. I guess I should thank you all for helping me." I smiled.
"No need. We save lives for the good of people. No payment here." Sonic told me sternly
I nodded before I noticed that Silver seemed distressed.
"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"My cyan chaos emerald! It's gone!" He cried.
I nodded. "Well then. Let me do that then. I'll help Silver look for his chaos emerald before I leave."
Sonic pondered it for a moment and then shrugged. "Fine. Egghead should be out of commission for a day or so."
I nodded and then I took Silver's hand but before we could leave I heard a stern voice call out. "Silver. We will be discussing your punishment when you get home. Do you understand? What you did was very reckless."
Silver groaned. "Dad! Do we have to?"
"Yes." His dad answered.
"I agree with your dad on this one. Silver, you could have been killed!" A pink hedgehog shouted.
"Mama!" Silver whined loudly
I smiled. "Alright. Seems like you have a punishment to serve. Look, I'll keep looking but you should go." I told Silver.
Silver stared at me in betrayal but nodded and slumped over to his parents while I marched off.
