I was.. Nervous.. This would be my first time going to bed with Amy without Silver in the room and I just.. I felt like I was at the tipping point of our relationship.
I wanted Amy.
Matthew was right when he had asked if we were married. I mean sure. That's how I saw it but.. Did Amy see it the same way?
I huffed.
"Shadow are you coming to bed?" Amy called and I shook my head.
I'd been telling myself for a year that I would let her make the first move and honestly. I wasn't going to break that.
I sighed.
"Yeah. I'm coming." I called sullenly before walking in and laying down.
"What's wrong?" Amy questioned while laying down beside me.
I was quiet for a moment and then I looked over at her.
"I want to take our relationship to atleast kissing but I'm scared of scaring you away." I admitted with a blushing face.
Amy just stared and then she smiled and before I knew it she had kissed me and snuggled into my chest.
"I love you, Shadow. I couldn't ask for a better man." She purred.
I smiled. Really smiled not small but big and then I kissed Amy's head.
"And.. I couldn't ask for a better woman. You are my forever. Amy Rose." I rumbled.
I woke up a few hours later to go to work and well.. Someone had clearly figured out how to change the channel.
Chao patrol was playing and Silver had himself all settled into the couch with a juice box in his hands.
"Silver. Get to bed." I huffed.
"Can't.. Nightmares.." Silver mumbled sleepily.
I sighed before walking over and sitting down beside him.
"What are they about?" I asked him.
"Wolf." Silver said simply.
"If you are scared that you will become like him. You won't. You are too good Silver. I wouldn't worry about it." I told Silver before ruffling his head quills and going to get my gun.
Silver stared at me for a moment and then he headed back to his room.
I just shook my head before heading to work.
