After being brought to the hospital I slept for ten hours and I woke up and I still felt like shit. Apparently dying takes alot out of you.
"Sonic!" Tails shouted way to fucking loudly.
I moaned and rolled onto my stomach. Shoving my face into the pillow.
Tails then quieted down thank god. "Sonic.. How ya feeling?"
"Like a peach. Don't you see how great I am?" I snarked.
Tails smacked me.
"Ow!" I yowled.
"Don't be a douche. How do you really feel?" Tails asked.
"Honestly? I feel like dogshit." I told him with a sigh before rolling over and staring at the ceiling.
Which was of course when my day had to get worse as a nurse came in with one of those gross hospital lunches. Eww.
I stuck my nose up to it and the nurse chuckled.
"Oh come on Sonic. You can't just not eat." The ginger cat smiled.
"I don't want it." I grunted.
"Baby." Tails taunted.
I growled before accepting the disgusting hospital food and inhaling it so that i didn't have to taste it.
And then Shadow came in with Amy.
"Sonic!" Amy shouted before hugging me.
Shadow shot me a death glare so hard I thought I really was going to die again and so I gently pushed Amy off.
"Ames. I'm fine. See?" I smiled.
"YOU HAD ME SO WORRIED YOU MORON! DON'T YOU EVER DIE AGAIN!" Amy shrieked before crossing her arms.
Shadow just growled and then Amy turned to him. "Shadow. He was dead."
"I know." Shadow grunted.
"Anyways. What happened to the monster?" I questioned.
"G.U.N handled it and then I brought it to Knuckles." Shadow explained.
"Brought it to Knuckles?" I said with wide eyes.
"He's trapped in a containment unit." Shadow said with a roll of his eyes.
"Oh." I answered.
Feeling a smidge better I sat up.
"So.. What's next?" I asked.
"Well. I haven't talked to Amy about it but.. We need a bigger house. Silver needs his own room." Shadow answered.
"Do we have enough rings to pay for that?" Amy asked Shadow.
"Honestly? No and I'm not on good terms with G.U.N right now but they won't fire me because I'm the best they have. So.. Anyone want to pitch in?" Shadow asked looking nervous.
I beamed. I had all kinds of money lying around. I mean sure Tails used some of it but for the most part? It was just all sitting in giant bags in the basement.
"Yeah! I'll get you guys any house you want! See it as a thankyou for saving my life." I answered.
"Sonic.." Amy said with a frown.
"What? I have money. I'm practically a multi millionaire." I huffed.
"Seriously? Where the hell is all your money then?" Shadow snorted.
"It's in my basement. I mean.. It's not like I need it." I chuckled.
"Sonic." Shadow growled.
"Yeah?" I answered.
"You are a dumbass." Shadow snapped before smacking me.
"OH COME ON! WHAT IS THIS!? HIT SONIC DAY?" I whined loudly.
Everyone just snorted and then a doctor came in to check on me and shooed everyone out.
I got out later that evening and all was well.
It was a week later when Amy texted me.
Amy Rose: If you were serious about getting us a house. I want this one.

Sonic: Why the third bedroom?
Amy Rose: That's going to be my crafts room. Currently I live in a one bed one bath apartment.
Sonic: Holy shit. Lol. How tf, how are three of you living there?
Amy Rose: We make it work. So can you afford it or not?
Sonic: Yeah. Gonna take a chunk outta my savings though. Thankgod maybe I'll have room in my basement again.
Amy Rose: This is Shadow. I stole Amy's phone, but, What the fuck?
Sonic: -_^w^_- What can I say. I'm rich.
Amy Rose: Got my phone back. Also. I agree with Shadow. You're insane.
Sonic: Okay Well. This insane guy is buying you a proper house. So give some kudos.
Amy Rose: Honestly. I don't think I can think you enough. Silver will probably not like moving butl. It has to happen.
Sonic: Eh. Tell the little gremlin That it's Sonic approved.
Amy Rose: Wait a sec. Inviting Shadow.
Shadow: What's the actual damage?
Sonic: ^.< I will never tell.
Shadow: Just googled the house Amy was looking at and holy fuck. We can't do that to you.
Sonic: It's nothing. Honestly. 360'000 Rings is child's play. Have you seen my basement? I could buy my own mansion if I wanted it.
Shadow: Still.
Sonic: Just let me do this for y'all. If you must. Think of it as an apology for being a douchebag for all of these years.
Amy Rose: It's fine Sonic. I wasn't the nicest Amy either. Anyways. Thanks for doing this.
Sonic: No problem.
Shadow: I will.. Remember this.
Sonic: ^_^
I signed off the chat after that and got to doing what I needed to do to get the home.
