It had been a month since then and honestly it had been peaceful. I mean I no longer had to put up with Sonic's shit. Nothing could be better. Not to mention...

I smirked while cuddling up to Shadow. Who now slept in my bed since I had basically told him that the couch was no longer a place fit for him to sleep.

"Ah!" Silver called from his side of the room.

Me and Shadow both sighed at the same time and looked at eachother.

"You're going to have to let me go. Shadow." I told him with a grin.

"Don't wanna." Shadow mumbled.

"Ahhh!" Silver wailed this time.

Shadow finally let me go with a grunt.

I just chuckled before going and feeding Silver.

Shadow just turned over onto his belly and stretched.

After I was done feeding Silver I decided to go make breakfast.

I was halfway through making breakfast when Shadow started laughing.

I looked over just in time to Shadow get on the ground and grin at Silver.

"Daddy bets he can do a better push-up than you." Shadow teased.

I had to choke back a snort as I watched from the corner of my eye.

Silver was on the ground doing tiny pushups and Shadow had apparently decided to join him.

Finally I couldn't hold it in anymore and I laughed.

"Is someone having a competition?" I teased them both.

Silver giggled and Shadow nodded.

"I take this challenge very seriously." Shadow grinned.

"Mhmm." I said while going back to breakfast and finishing up the breakfast burrito's that I was making.

Silver had stopped doing push-ups now and was watching me with interest.

"Don't worry Silver. You can have some once your teeth come in." I told him and then we had breakfast.

It was two months later when IT happened.

I was doing laundry in my laundry room when Shadow came running in looking like the devil was chasing him.

"SILVER IS GO-" He screamed and then suddenly stopped and I looked down to see that Silver had apparently crawled in here?

Oh no. He was mobile.

"Here comes the handful and the headache part?" I asked only half teasingly.

Shadow just groaned and mock fell on me like a drama queen.

"Amy! He is MOVING!" Shadow cried.

"I know." I answered while picking Silver up who immediately decided that this was a sin.

"Ahhhhh!" Silver wailed while reaching for the ground.

Shadow just snorted before taking him from me. "I think me and Silver are leaving to go buy baby gates."

I nodded. "Good luck."

Too say the least we blocked Silver into the living room. That way we could minimalize his mobility aswell as keep an eye on him better. Otherwise he was shunned to being carried around.

Silver for the record. Hated it. He was such a curious little thing and I loved it. Granted something told me that this would end up getting him in trouble in the future but I'm sure it would be fine.
