I was panting as I watched Silver's adult doppelganger slump against Shadow as he went unconscious.
Shadow looked positively murderous and I understood that feeling completely but I didn't want to kill W.O.L.F yet.. I mean.. Who the hell was he?
"I don't like this Amy." Shadow growled while shoving W.O.L.F off him.
I watched as W.O.L.F crumpled to the floor like a doll and I picked him up.
"I don't either but we need answers from him about Silver before we bring him to G.U.N" I told Shadow.
Shadow nodded. "I say we lock him in Rouge's basement."
"Agreed." I said and after that I took the blue chaos emerald out of W.O.L.F's quills aswell as a bag containing all of his rings.
He had alot of money to say the least. Probably stole it from his victims. I shuddered.
I called Rouge right before we left.
"Hey Rouge. We caught W.O.L.F and well.. We need to lock him in your basement so that we can talk to him." I told the bat with a nervous lilt in my voice.
"Oh? Why not just bring him to G.U.N?" Rouge asked.
"Because he stole Silver and is the only one who knows where he is." Shadow explained.
"Oh. Well. Bring him down then." Rouge said before hanging up.
We arrived there ten minutes later and I dropped him off in the basement and after me and Shadow both sat on the basement door.
It was an hour later when he woke up with a loud groan.
"Ugghh.." W.O.L.F groaned.
"About time you woke up." Shadow shouted through the door.
"Shadow.." W.O.L.F hissed and then we really had to hold down the door as it glowed blue and W.O.L.F tried to force it open. Even Rouge joined.
"YOU CAN'T KEEP ME DOWN HERE!" W.O.L.F screamed.
"I CAN KEEP YOU DOWN THERE AS LONG AS I WANT! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE POWER HERE!: Shadow shouted back.
W.O.L.F went silent.
"Where is my son!?" I called as I decided to make myself known.
"None of your business!" W.O.L.F snapped.
I took a deep breathe to calm myself before trying again.
"Why do you look so much like him?" I asked still keeping my voice loud.
"Wouldn't you like to know." W.O.L.F sneered.
"If you don't start giving us answers i'm going to call G.U.N." Shadow threatened.
"DO IT THEN! WHY WASTE MY TIME!" W.O.L.F howled.
"WASTE YOUR TIME!? YOUR WASTING OUR TIME! YOU SHOULD BE IN JAIL RIGHT NOW BUT NOOO YOU GOTTA BE DIFFICULT!" Shadow snapped.
"Will you please just tell us where Silver is?" I begged.
"Why? It's not like you care. You're just going to abandon him in the future." W.O.L.F snorted.
"What!? I would never abandon my baby!" I shrieked.
"And why should I believe you? You've done it before." W.O.L.F snarled.
"I've never abandoned my son." I snarled.
"Hmph.. What if he grew up to be me? Would you abandon him then?" W.O.L.F asked.
"No. I would be disappointed sure but I would never abandon him." I told W.O.L.F
"Then.. Why.. Why did you kill father?" W.O.L.F questioned.
"W.O.L.F I've never killed anyone." I said confused.
W.O.L.F was silent for a moment and then he rephrased what he said.
"I.. Forgot.. This isn't my time.. Okay.. Well let's say hypothetically. You had a male hedgehog who loved you that you lived with. That you had a family with. Why would you kill him?" W.O.L.F asked his voice turning desperate.
I blinked. "What was this hedgehog's name?"
"Platinum. I mean sure he wasn't the nicest. But everyone gets angry sometimes.. I just.. I don't understand.." W.O.L.F cried softly.
And suddenly I understood.
This was Silver. If Platinum had raised him.
"W.O.L.F.. Is Platinum still a serial killer in your world?" I asked darkly.
"Yes.. But he.. He can't help it! I mean.. He never hurt me.. I mean sure he kept you inside but it was for your own protection!" Alternate Future Silver shouted.
I trembled for a moment as I imagined a world where Platinum had successfully kidnapped me and raised Silver. No wonder Alternate Future Silver was so fucked up.
"You do understand that Platinum is evil as fuck right? He kidnapped and raped your mother if the story goes how I think it does." Shadow grumbled.
"HE LOVED HER! IT WASN'T.. It wasn't rape.." Alternate Future Silver said now sounding slightly hesitant.
I sighed. "I'll only ask one more time. Where is my son?" I questioned.
"You're sending me to G.U.N aren't you?" Alternate Future Silver asked darkly.
"I won't if you promise to leave and never come back." I told him.
"No." Alternate Future Silver growled.
"Why not?" I asked him.
"My true mother would never take me back. I killed Shadow and Marianna." Alternate Future Silver answered truthfully.
"Marianna?" I questioned already feeling like I didn't want to know the answer.
"My half sister. Shadow and mom's daughter." Alternate Future Silver said.
I closed my eyes. Grieving for a moment.
"You're a monster." Shadow said his voice unfeeling.
"You think I don't know that!?" Alternate Future Silver snapped.
"Rouge.. Can you call G.U.N?" I asked her.
She simply nodded.
"I told you that you'd abandon me." Alternate Future Silver said cruelly.
I just looked away and then I left. I couldn't stay here.
