I turned around with a roar and lunged at Sonic with all the rage I had.
Sonic easily dodged me and it was only then that I realized his true speed. All the times he could of dodged me back when I was obsessed with him but didn't. Asshole was leading me on since the beginning and I found that I was even more angry. It truly was all a game for him.
Sonic snarled as my hammer almost hit him in the side and I snarled back.
We both fought like wolves and in the end Sonic had me pinned and it was like Platinum all over again but without the rape. Just the feel of malicious intent and Sonic's murderous eyes.
I whimpered and then Eggman grabbed Sonic with his mech for he had been completely forgotten and promptly flew away with the blue hedgehog. I didn't even try to follow and instead I turned around to the forgotten stasis chamber and hoped to god that Shadow was alive as I dragged it outside.
Tails met me at the door. "Amy! Where is Sonic!"
"Don't fucking mention him. Asshole got what he deserved." I snarled.
Tails looked shocked for a moment and then shook his head.
"Tails. Can you please get Shadow out?" I asked him tearfully.
Tails crossed his arms and then sighed. "What did Sonic do?"
"He came in. Refused to help and then trash talked about Shadow and we kinda had a fight." I said while looking down.
"Great Mobius. Okay. Let me get Shadow out. Since I know you're not going back in there." Tails groaned.
I watched as Tails hacked into the chamber and then the lock popped and I caught Shadow before he fell to the ground.
"Amy?" He groaned.
"I'm here Shadow. I saved you but now we have to save Sonic's dumbass." I half growled half groaned.
"Can't.. Tired.." Shadow mumbled.
Tails just sighed. "Fine. We'll come back here tomorrow."
I nodded and then I vanished my hammer and picked up Shadow.
The walk home was long and arduous and I was exhausted but Shadow was priority number one.
I got home and the first thing I did was place Shadow on the couch before mechanically going over and feeding Silver while Rouge gave me a concerned look and then she went over to Shadow.
I brought Silver to his crib and then I hit my bed with my face and I was out like a light. Today had been hard.
I woke up two times throughout the night to feed Silver but other than that I was A-okay by the time it was morning. Or atleast what I told myself as I took a shower and then I went to go check on Shadow.
Shadow was asleep so I gently shook his shoulder.
"Shadow.." I said softly.
"Amy.." He mumbled and opened his eyes.
"Shadow. Are you okay?" I said while running my hand through his head quills.
Shadow merely purred before closing his eyes again. I sighed and stopped and he cracked open one eye.
"Eggman's stasis bullshit made you high as fuck didn't it?" I questioned and he chuckled.
"It shouldn't last too much longer." He told me as he got up.
I had to steady him and then we both made our way to the bathroom.
"Be careful while taking your shower okay? If you fall. Scream." I told him firmly and he nodded.
"Understood." I watched as he closed the door and I sighed.
I was in my room sitting with Silver and worrying when Shadow walked in and flopped on the bed beside me.
"I feel like hell." Shadow moaned.
I chuckled before running my fingers through his back quills without thinking and the purr he released was strong and I blushed and took my hand back.
Shadow made a whining noise before flipping onto his back and staring at me like I had done gone and done him wrong.
"What? Do you want to be petted?" I smiled.
"Yes.." Shadow said sounding alittle embaressed.
I just chuckled but resumed petting him and it wasn't long until I heard snoring.
I stretched before laying down beside him. I didn't want to sleep on my own couch and I was too tired to move Shadow. Or atleast that's what I told myself as I snuggled up to him and fell asleep.
