Chapter 26
"Oh, won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love, it's clear to see
But darling, stay with me" - Stay with me - Sam Smith"So, are you and Logan going to the Christmas dance together?" Kelsey asked wiggling her eyebrows.
I shook my head, "I don't think so. He hasn't said anything to me and the dance is this weekend." I was currently walking down the hallway to my next class with Cara and Kelsey. A poster advertising the Christmas dance the school is holding this weekend came into view which spark the interest of the girls asking me if I was going with Logan.
Cara's eyes widen, "I can't believe he hasn't asked you." Then she shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe he just doesn't want to go to the dance. Yeah that's it, that's probably why he hasn't asked you."
"I honestly don't care much about it. It's not like it's prom and we also have the Valentines's dance to look forward to. It's not a big deal." I said readjusting the strap of my bag on my shoulder.
We passed by some lockers and I saw Ashley and Logan talking. It sorta bugged me seeing them but I don't control Logan so he can do whatever he wants.
"Wonder what those two are talking about." I heard Cara say. I was too much into my thoughts about Logan with Ashley to pay attention to her. "Who knows, it's probably just Ashley being Ashley." We arrived at our classes and we went our separate ways.
I sat in my seat and got my pencil and notebook ready to take notes. I felt a presence come up to me and I looked up to see Alex sitting in the next seat beside me grinning.
"Hey, Alex." I greeted him.
"Hey Zoe, it's been forever since I've talked to you." He said. I remember back when I first moved in when Alex was my first friend here at Southport High. Logan had told me to stay away from him and I did. Since I started hanging out with Logan and his crew, I completely forgot Alex existed.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I've been kinda busy." I sorta lied.
"I've noticed that you have gotten close to Logan Collins. I'm guessing you guys are going to the Christmas dance together?" I shook my head, "No, I'm not going." I said. "Or at least not right now I'm not." He looked surprised then he smiled, "Well if you're not busy Friday night, I'm having a party at my house. You're welcome to come, I'll even come by and pick you up if you need me to." He informed me.
I smiled politely, "I'll keep that in mind."
He nodded his head as he got up from the seat, "Just shoot me a text if you need a ride."
"Will do,"
I obviously was not going to go to the party but it was nice to be invited to one.

I was laying on my stomach on my bed finishing up homework. It was a Thursday evening and I was pretty tired and ready to go to bed. I heard a light knock on my bedroom door. "Come in!" I shouted to the person knocking.
I smiled when I saw Logan appear in my room. "Hey! What's up?"
He just shrugged and walked over to my bed and sat down. "Just wanted to see what you were up to." He peered over my shoulder, "What are you doing anyways?"
"Calculus homework," I casually responded, I put my pencil down and looked up at him just in time to see him scrunch his nose in disgust. "Gross,"
