Chapter 38
"So honey now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are" - Thinking out loud - Ed Sheeran
Who doesn't like weddings? Crazy people do, that's who.
Me? I adore weddings!
Call me a hopeless romantic or whatever but there is nothing more than I love more than weddings.
There is just something about getting dressed up and the pretty decorations, the beautiful dresses worn by the bride and bridesmaid. Then let's not forget the wedding itself, when the groom and bride confess their love for each other and become one as a family. The reception is a big party to celebrate the big commitment and usually there is yummy cake and crazy dancing.
Nothing beats a wedding, and I couldn't be more excited about Logan's aunts wedding tomorrow!
Logan, on the other hand is not as excited as I am.
"I don't get it though, it's just a wedding. Why do I have to do all this stuff like a rehearsal dinner and bachelor party. Can't I just skip it all?" He whined.
I held in a laugh, "No, Logan you can't. It's the fun of being in weddings."
He paused his video game and turned to me as I sat on the couch behind him. "You call all of that fun?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
I smirked, "Yes I call that fun, now stop whining and go get ready before you're late for the rehearsal dinner."
He groaned as he shut off his game and got up, "Is there anything I can do or say to get out of this?"
"Nope, now go," I said pointing to his bedroom.
He started for his bedroom and then turned around with a smirk on his face.
"You know what would be more fun? If you joined me in getting ready." He winked and bit his lip seductively.
I shook my head and chuckled, "Go get ready." I repeated.
He groaned as he slammed the door. I rolled my eyes and picked up my phone.
I realized the time and decided that it would probably be best to head home since Logan had to leave soon anyways.
I knocked on his bedroom door, "Hey Logan, I'm going to head home. I'll see you tomorrow at the wedding."
The shower was on and I wasn't sure if he could hear me but I faintly heard a "Okay," and a "bye," so I guess he heard me.
I made the few second walk to my house and opened my closet to find the perfect dress to wear to the wedding tomorrow.
----
I looked at myself in the mirror and admired my dress that I was wearing to the wedding.
Cara and Kelsey had helped me pick it out when we went shopping the other day.
It was a light pink color dress that came just about my knees. The sleeves came down to my wrist but the arms had slits in it starting at the shoulders and ending about half way down my arm.
