Chapter 48
"You stand with your hand on my waist line
It's a scene and we're out here in plain sight
I can hear them whisper as we pass by
It's a bad sign, bad sign" - I know places - Taylor Swift
Today was a big day, well for me it is.
Today is Monday, the day that Logan goes back to school since he moved and the first day we show up to school as an actual couple.
I know it shouldn't that nerve wracking considering that I've been the talk of the school since I've moved here, all thanks to being friend to Logan. But, the fact that we are exclusive now it gets me a little nervous to have the attention and rumors about me.
Why people focus more on other people's business and not there own is something that will never make sense to me.
Logan said that we could carpool today so I'm riding with him to school. I wasn't sure it was a good idea but he insisted so I just agreed to make him happy.
Speaking of happy, even though Logan and I just made it official that we were dating last night. I couldn't be more happy with the ways things are going right now. I've always wanted a boyfriend but been to shy to ever open up to someone and be comfortable with a guy in a romantic relationship but Logan has made it so easy for me.
I really do like this boy.
When I get nervous, I tend to not eat. I usually lose my appetite and feel like I'm going to puke. So I fixed me a cup of coffee before walking over to Logan's house.
Not sure if the coffee was a good idea, it will probably just make me more jittery.
I juggled my things in my hands, books in one arm, coffee in that hand and turn the keys in the door with the other hand. Once I got through the door, I was greeted with a smiling Logan who just came down the stairs in his house.
"Hey babe," he said with a smile. "I'll be ready in a minute then we can go." He disappeared into the kitchen while I sat my stuff down to rest my aching arms.
I smiled to myself at the word 'babe'. Logan defiantly has a way with words.
"Alright, I'm ready." He walks towards the door and I stand still with my hands on my hips.
"What are you doing?" He asks confused. "Are you coming?"
I smirk, "You're missing something."
He looks around slightly frazzled, "What? What am I missing?"
"A good morning kiss,"
He instantly smiles and takes two long strides to get to me before smashing his lips on mine. I smile into the kiss and I can't help but relax at the feeling.
"Good morning princess, I'm sorry I forgot such an important thing." He mumbled against my lips.
I pull back but just a few inches and smile playfully, "I'm only letting you off the hook because you seem to be in a hurry this morning"
"And because that was a pretty hot kiss." I add which made him smirk.
"I am hot." He said sexily, dipping his head down for another kiss.
"That you are," I whisper before pecking him on the lips.
"We need to go." I said then sauntered off, leaving him all hot and bothered.
I'm such a badass.
He groaned which made me laugh as we both made our way to his car.
The ride to school was peaceful. I flipped through the radio stations and Logan made small talk about going back to school after being gone for a week.
