Chapter 10
"Never felt like this before
Are we friends or are we more?
As I'm walking towards the door
I'm not sure" - Change my mind - One DirectionToday had been a beautiful Saturday. I spend the day with my mom and sister. We went to the mall, out to eat, and just spending time with each other. I had really enjoyed it. It's the little things in life that matters the most.
I was currently relaxing in bed about to watch a movie. I put A Cinderella Story disk into the DVD player and waited for it to start up.
I heard my phone start ringing so I leaned over and picked it up from my bedside table. I looked at the screen and saw Logan's name flash on my screen, "Hey Mr. Homecoming King." I answered.
"Hey, what might you being doing on this fine Saturday evening?" He spoke.
"Well, I'm laying in bed about to watch a movie." I replied.
"Lameeee" he sang.
I laughed, "It's not lame to me."
"I was calling to see if you wanted to go bowling with us?"
I made a face even though he couldn't see me, "Bowling is the worst! I'll pass."
"Oh come on! It will be fun!" He said.
"No thanks, I suck at bowling."
He laughed, "I don't think you could be worse than Cara. She sucks."
I chuckled, "Be nice! She's my friend."
"She was my friend first." He responded. "But come on, I'll help you."
I signed, "Fine, I'll come but I'm not bowling."
"Whatever, I'll be there in 10." We hung up and I rushed to get dressed.
I really don't want to go but I wouldn't mind hanging out with Logan tonight so I guess I'll just have to deal with sitting and watching them bowl. It may not be a bad Idea considering I'll get to watch Logan bowl and his muscles as he does it.
Okay, I'm sounding creepy, I need to stop.
10 minutes later I hear Logan's horn so I rushed downstairs, told my mom bye and walked out to Logan's car.
I climbed into the passenger seat and turned towards him, "Hey" I said giving him a friendly smile.
He returned the smile while backing out of the driveway. He looked at me and then sniffed the air. "You smell good." He said.
I felt my cheeks warm up, "Weirdo." I said.
He laughed,"It was supposed to be a compliment!"
I gave him a cheeky smile, "I know, thanks."
"You're the weirdo." He shot back.
"I'm not the weirdo that sniffs the air."
"Not fair. I was trying to be nice!" He said laughing while throwing his arms in the air.
"Hey mister, both hands on the wheel. I don't want to die tonight." I replied.
He laughs, "Yes ma'am."
I turn up the radio and for the rest of the ride we just listened to music.
We pulled up to the bowling alley and he parked the car.
"Alright you ready to dominate bowling with me?" He said wrapping an arm around me as we walked towards the door.
I could barely think about what to say next because he warm body pressed against my side as his arm was slung around my shoulder was distracting me.
