This is one of my favorite songs so I highly recommend you guys to listen to it. I love it! Also enjoy this really long chapter. :)
"I'll spin you around, won't let you fall down.
Would you let me lead? You can step on my feet.
Give it a try, it'll be alright
The room's hush hush and now's our moment.
Take it in, feel it all and hold it
Eyes on you, eyes on me.
We're doing this right." - All about us - He is we
"Are you ready to meet my friends?" I asked Logan who was sitting in the passenger seat of my grandmother's car. She let us borrow it for the day since we were going out with my friends today. I was driving us to meet them at the local skating rink which so happens to be my favorite place here back home in Virginia.
He sighed deeply and smiled slightly, "I'm excited but not going a lie, I'm a little nervous too."
"Really?" I asked surprised. "My friends are cool. I think you'll like them and I know they will like you."
He nodded, "I hope so."
I glanced over at him and grabbed his hand while I drove with my other hand. I brought his hand to my lips and kissed it as he entwined our fingers together.
"So can you tell me where we are going now?" He asked growing impatient.
A chuckle let out of my mouth as I finally decided to give in. "Fine, Mr. Impatient." I shook my head and continued, "We are going to my favorite place here in Virginia."
"And that would be..." He said waiting for me to reveal where we are meeting my friends at.
"We are going Ice-Skating," I said smiling. I couldn't wait to be back on the ice!
He was as excited as I was and my smile began to falter. Oh God, he probably hates the idea. Dang it!
"What's wrong, do you not like that idea?"
He shook his head, "No it's fine. It's just I've never been ice skating before. You know since I live in Florida and we don't have many ice skating rinks around. So I really don't know how to ice skate."
Oh. He he, this is going to be a funny day. I can just picture him slipping and falling on his ass on the ice.
I tried to hide the smile on my face but I failed and he saw it.
"Stop making fun of me!" He whined and I couldn't help it but I lost it.
I started laughing so hard that I had tears coming out of my eyes and my stomach was growing tight.
"I'm sorry," I said I as tried to stop laughing. He was clearly not amused.
"I just picture you falling and it's hilarious." I told him.
"You're so mean."
I laughed, "Oh come on, it's not that hard. Have you ever been roller skating before?"
He nodded.
"Okay, it's not much harder than that. The only difference in ice skating is that there is a blade at the bottom of the skates and you have to be able to balance. It's really not that hard to do, I promise."
