Let's just say, I'm not the most peppiest person in the world. Especially when it's a Friday afternoon and I'm exhausted from all the school work from this week. All I want to do is crawl in my bed and take a nap before tonight's big football game. But no, I have to go to the school's big pep rally they are having for the first football game of the season.

I enter the gymnasium where the pep rally is being held at and I immediately scan over the large crowd, searching for Kelsey. I see Cara already on the stage getting ready to perform with the rest of the cheerleading squad. The football players are not in the room yet. I finally spot the familiar blonde that has came to be one of best friends since I've moved here.

I make my way through the crowd of the loud students to where Kelsey is at. She is talking with an attractive blonde guy. I see her smile bright up as she talks to him. Ohhh I wonder if Kelsey has a crush on this mystery guy.

"Hey girl!" She says when she I walk up to her. "Hey! Wow it's really loud in here."

She laughs, "Just wait until the band starts playing and the cheerleaders start cheering. It gets even louder."

I groan and she laughs at my lack of enthusiasm. Suddenly the band starts playing and the cheerleaders start their dance and cheer. Kelsey was right, it was much louder when all that started. Ashley is in the front of the squad flaunting her stuff as she dances through the cheers. She's defiantly your typical slutty bitch cheerleader.

Out of the corner of my eye I see the doors open and the team starts filing in the room, in a single file line.

I turn to get a better look and see Logan in the front, leading the team to the front of the stage to where the chairs are. He catches my eye and wink at me. God, he's such a tease. I smile at him as he passes me.

This past week at school was better. I have gotten a lot more comfortable around Logan and his friends. A few awkward moments here and there but nonetheless it's getting better. Logan and the other guys begged me to come watch their first football game and since I'm trying to get myself out there and enjoy my senior year of high school I thought why not go spend my Friday night with hundreds of people watching guys in tight pants with pads and helmets tackle each other to try and stop each other from scoring with the ball.

I'm trying to be as supportive to my new friends as I can be but I can only be so enthusiastic about a football game.

I find myself clapping and cheering along with the others. Then the head football coach makes his way to the middle of the stage where the microphone is. He pauses to let the cheers die down then he starts to speak. "It's that time of year, everyone has been waiting for. The team has practiced and trained all summer getting ready for this season and it's here. Please come out and support us as we take on West High! Go Lions!" Everyone cheers as Coach Rogers exits the stage and a new figure appears. The cheers escalade as they see who it is. Dress in dark jeans and in the school colors of Green and White letterman jacket is none other than Logan Collins, the star quarterback.

It's not a secret that girls are head over heels with the guy. He's dreamy and what every girl wants. Too bad he can be an ass and likes to fool around with girls because he just doesn't know what he wants.

He stands there for a moment, eyes sparkling and smile so wide you can see his pearly white teeth so brightly. He waves to the crowd and blows a kiss to a few girls in the front row. I roll my eyes at their squeals and swooning. After what seems like forever he speaks up, "So tonight is a big game. Expecting a victory tonight and would love to see all you guys there. Go lions!" Again the crowd erupts into cheers as he walks off the stage back to his seat.
