Hyenas

They may seem like wild dogs from a distance, but hyenas aren't kin to canines; instead, they are feline relatives, members of the suborder Feliformia, which is a classification for cat-like carnivores. There are four hyena species — spotted, striped, brown, and the aardwolf, the last being the smallest of the bunch.
