Over the decades, many actors have stepped up to the microphone to belt out the theme songs to their television shows, including Carroll O'Connor and Jean Stapleton in "Those Were the Days," Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor in "Green Acres," and the Brady Kids in "The Brady Bunch." However, "Movin' On Up," the theme song for The Jeffersons, was co-written and performed by Ja'net DuBois. Although DuBois never appeared on The Jeffersons, she was a cast member on the sitcom Good Times (portraying Willona Woods). Oddly, Mike Evans (who played Lionel in The Jeffersons) created Good Times.
