Despite starring roles in "The Truman Show," "Man on the Moon," and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," Jim Carrey has never received an Oscar nomination. While the movies "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "The Cable Guy," and "Dumb and Dumber" transformed Jim Carrey into a comedy superstar, these same films may have made him persona non grata with the Academy. Despite being snubbed by the Academy, Carrey has won two Golden Globes.
