Blood Type O

Blood is classified into 4 groups — A, B, AB, and O. While it is fine to use blood types that match when it comes to blood transfusions, blood type "O" is considered the best option. Type O negative does not contain antigens, meaning that it does not trigger an immune response in a body without an O blood type.
