    It was silent for a bit of time before Sage randomly said "oh he replied and said . . . he will help us if he gets to come over" She groaned and said " I don't want him over here" I laughed and said "but why" and she side glared at me. I looked at her in a very dead panned expression. She rolled her eyes and said " because he's embarrassing" I could not help but chuckle a bit and said "Yeah but it's better than not having any" Sage looked at me with a worried expression and I got up out of bed. I head over to a piece of paper and a pencil. I could hear her sigh and she then said "he is on his way" I said "okay how long" she hesitated for a minute and said "about 20 minutes" I nodded my head. She walked over to me and looked over my shoulder. I started to write down,

Dear Jane,
    Thank you for reaching out. I understand how you may be concerned about my well being and I am sorry that I did not show up to work. There are tons I need to explain to you but we need to talk in private. There are some people who wish ill intent on me and I do ask you to please not come to my apartment till I tell you otherwise. Thank you for the key to the shop because it came in very handy. The kid and I are doing well and actually she is the reason why I can get this letter to you. She is very smart and has helped me in more ways than one. I do hope you are doing well and that no one is giving you a hard time. If so please be safe and contact authorities immediately.

I read it over again and took a deep breath. There are so many things to say but none I can say over the internet or allow others to know about. The second the mail people read it and see the word Cyborg they might just faint. So I think that is going to be as good as it gets for right now. I look over at Sage and ask "can you send that" She pauses for a second and says "yeah, we also can do it in person and hand it into the post office, there's a rout where they pick up mail every hour" I nod my head and then heard a loud knock on the door. I take a deep breath and whisper under my breath "please be Bert" Sage slowly walks over to the door. There is a pause and then she opens the door slowly. He burst through the door and you can hear the wind outside howling. He walks into the living room with his harms gripping his jacket tight around his body. He is shivering a bit and says through chattering teeth "does anyone know whats up with the wind outside" I look over at Sage who does her thing and then says "there's a malfunctioning fan in the south district they are working on fixing as well as a thermal malfunction" He nods his head and says "oh great" She continues what she is saying and says "expect winter like degrees tonight with possible snow" His jaw drops and my eyebrows raise. We all look at each other and say "we have never been in snow before" I think for a second and then say "well look Bert we need your help mailing this letter to a specific location and need it same day shipping" he just stared at me for a second and says "can I-" Sage interrupts him and says " I told you to not ask questions" He throws up his hands in frustration and says "okay fine give me the letter" before I hand it to him I say "but I need you to protect this with your life as well as make sure no one else gets this, if you think you are being followed or in immediate danger rip it up and notify us" He blinks a few times and takes a deep breath and says "I owe it to you for saving my girl so of course I will do what I can" I nod my head and gave it to him.
    He stares at the letter for a good moment and then says "well I best be going then" He looks at Sage and she tells him the location. He waits for a second and stares at Sage with a small smile on his face before walking to the door. Before he leaves he says "you two be careful please" We both smile at him as he leaves. Before he closes the door you can see him huddle up into his coat. I look at Sage and say "do you think that was a bad idea" she shakes her head no and then I have an idea. I say "wait, do cyborgs have chip locators too?" She looks at the floor and says "it's possible that some do but it's very unlikely" I go "oh" and head into the kitchen I open the fridge and grab a water. Sage goes to the cupboard and asks "are you hungry" I say "not really, are you" she says "not really" I look up at the time and it is close to night time and I wonder if it was a smart idea to let him go out in this weather. None of us have experienced what it is like to have cold weather. It is always perfect outside. The Sage looks up at me with a worried expression on her face. I ask her "what's up" and she says " I just got a text from dad saying he thinks someone is following him"
