Chapter 11

Date is September 19, 4052
My breath hitched in my throat and I tripped trying to run backwards. I started choking on my own air and the eyes kept staring at me. I looked to my left to see the stick next to me, so I grabbed it. I pointed it at the eyes and crawled backwards. Finally catching my breath I got up and started to run but stopped dead in my tracks. Two people in black hoodies were standing in front of me. They had what looked like clubs. I pointed my stick at them and then turned around to the forest. Everything felt like it was spinning and my feet felt like bricks. It then became harder to breathe.
I heard my name and I turned back around to the men in black hoodies. One of them stepped forward. He was looking down so I could not see his face but his voice was deep like a growl. He bellowed out across the small patch of land in between us.
"We just need to ask a few questions"
I swallowed and tried to yell back.
"I don't want- I don't want any trouble"
I heard both of them chuckle and saw them look at each other. They both looked back at me and one of them said.
"Oh cutie we don't either, that's why you should come with us"
I looked around to see any possible escape routes and there was one to my left but that was to a river. Yes I could take that and jump in like a fish but I don't know how to swim.
'We dont have pools where I am from okay!'
I saw them both take a step forward and it was now that I had to make my final decision on what I wanted to do. I tightened my grip on the stick feeling the dirt scratch against my skin. I threw the stick and said.
"Just don't hurt me please"
Both men rushed at me and I prepared for the worse. I froze and felt their hands grip hard around my arms and start pulling me towards this all black hybrid car. They opened the back door and practically threw me in. One ran to the drivers side and the other sat in the back with me. The one in the driver's seat said a street like. 3872 Hector street. Or something like that. The car beeped and slowly started driving. The one in the back with me said.
"Turn and face the window"
I looked at him with pure fear and went to go speak but he cut me off by forcibly pushing me into the window. He pulled my hands behind my back and tied them together. It was so tight it started burning. He yanked me back and grabbed a sack and went to put it on my head. I yelled.
"Wait, just wait a second"
The man did wait and looked at me. I noticed his eyes were white like ice and had no pupils. I coughed out a simple.
"You don't haft to be so mean, I am not going to run away"
He smiled and his teeth were sharp as blades. He shoved something into my mouth and put the bag on my head. I whimpered but shut up real quick when they started talking to each other. It started off with the man in the back with me saying.
"Are you sure this is the right one"
The man in the front punched something and yelled.
"Don't question me kid, remember whos in charge"
The man in the back mumbled.
"Well you're not the one in charge"
The man in the front started laughing loudly. It sounded horrible like a choking animal.
"Wanna say that again"
The man in the back with me shut his mouth real quick. The car's engine purred softly because there was not much of an engine but more of a motherboard. The sound of cars being puttering by, created a heavy wind. Having this blind fold on gave me crazy vertigo and I felt like I was falling. I kept jumping and finally the guy next to me got tired of it. He put his hand on my shoulder and whispered in my ear.
"Knock it off before I tie you down like a pig"
My skin crawled and I could not help but shrink away. I felt his hand squeeze my shoulder then leave it. It did not help my vertigo at all. The gps then chimed in.
"A few minutes till we arrive at our destination"
Her voice was slow and methodical. The man in front took a deep breath. The air smelt like plastic and leather. A smell I have not smelt in a long time. It brought back memories and I could not help but take a huge breath in even though the sack made it very hard to breathe. I could feel the car slow down then turn. Then the car stopped.
