Smut warning for this chapter.😏

Ellen basically ran past Chris when she got home, she didn't want him to see her face so she said that she had some work to do and locked herself away in her office. She couldn't stop the tears from running down her cheeks as soon as she closed the door behing her. 'What the hell did she just do?' Was all that was going through her head. She didn't mean to be so mean to him and she regretted it already. She wished she could go back to him right now but she couldn't leave her house and even if she could she wouldn't know what to say. Maybe she just wasn't ready for this conversation with him yet.

Patrick drove to Ellens house and tried really hard to stop his own tears before he rang the doorbell. He knew Chris would probably be home but he didn't care right now. There was just no way he was letting her get away from him this time.
As he stood infront of Ellens door he gathered all his thoughts and prepared himself for what he'd say if Chris was the one opening the door. After a few seconds he finally made himself ring the doorbell and waited nervously.
"Patrick! What are you doing here?" A small sweet voice asked as the door opened. It was Stella and Patrick was really glad it wasnt Chris. "Hi Stella. Is your mother home?" He said with a sweet voice but before the girl could answer him he saw Chris come up behind her. "She is working in her office. What's up?" Chris was the one to respond and Stella just smiled and skipped away leaving him and Chris alone. "Well Krista called me about a flashback scene on the show and i just wanted to talk to El about it." He said lying the best that he could right now in the distraught state he was in.
"Oh well like I said she is in her office, I'm sure you could just go up and knock." Chris answered really politely and Patrick realised that whatever he just said, Chris had believed him. "Thanks man." He told him nicely and quickly headed past him towards stairs.

Ellen sat in her office and had finally stopped her tears from flowing, now she was just numb. However she quickly snapped out of her trance when she heard a knock on the door. "Not now Chris, i'm busy!" She said firmly trying not to sound too upset in her voice. "Ellie it's me. Please let me in." Ellen could recognize Patricks voice from a mile away. 'What the hell?' she thought to herself but quickly got up to unlock the door.
"What are you doing here?" Was all she could get out when she saw the face of the man she loved for so many years. Ellen was shocked when he gently pushed her back so he could walk in. He didn't say anything he just quickly locked the door behind them again. "Wha..." Was all she could say before she felt his lips crash down on hers. She felt his tongue on her lips begging for entrance and her body automatically responded to him and she let out a soft moan as she started to battle his tongue with her own.
After a few seconds she regained her thoughts and quickly pushed him away. "What the hell are you doing? Chris is downstairs and I told you to let me go." Ellen said and instantly regretted the last part. All she wanted was to take it all back and now he was here kissing her and she was making it worse.

Patricks rage was building again. After all these years he'd learned that she didn't always mean the words she spoke but she had to learn that what she said actually hurt him. "Ellen Kathleen Pompeo you fucking stop this right now." He eventually spoke, he didn't raise his voice but he was stern and serious. Ellen was taken back with those words and her eyes sank into the floor.
"No look at me Ellen. I am not letting you run anymore. I wont do it. I stand by what i said, we can not do this forever but I will wait for you for as long as it takes. I can't lose you again. But you have to stop telling me to leave." Patrick took a deep breathe and watched Ellen closely for a response and could see she was tearing up.
"I can't tell the world about us yet Patty, it'll hurt everyone." She finally said with a shaky voice and Patrick felt himself calm down a little. "Oh you silly woman." At this Ellen smiled a bit confused while she continued listening to him speak. "I never said we should tell them about us. I said things need to change. As in at some point we need to leave them. Or at least start a plan on how we'll leave. I don't want to hurt them either. I know telling them the truth would just cause more damage."
