"Hello?!"
Patrick recognized his daughters voice instantly. He felt is heart start to beat faster and faster. After he basicly told her that he was in love with Ellen, he hadn't seen her. And now after all this time she was home and she was going to see him sit her with Ellen. And not only that, but Ellen dressed in a ripped up shirt and his sweats.
He looked over at Ellie who was trying to fix her shirt as much as she could. The panic is her eyes was visible and he gave her a soft smile trying to get her to breathe.

"Talula?" Patrick called out and made his way towards the hallway to meet her. It was better to just meet her than to have her walk into the very cosy looking living room. "Hi dad! Missed you." Tal said and walked over to give him a hug when she saw him.

Meanwhile Ellen was trying to get the livingroom to look less like a place where they had just been snuggled up together, and more like a place where two friends had been catching up. She tied her shirt even tighter, trying her hardest to hide the fact that it was broken and that she wasn't wearing anything underneath. She listened to Talula say hello to Patrick and decided to make her way towards the hallway too, to say hello now that she looked a little better. She was still messy though.

"What are you doing home honey?" Patrick asked his daugther as they broke the hug. "Well my plans got canceled so I thought i'd stop by. That's okay right?" Tal looked at him with a weird look at the question. She had gotten a brief feeling that her dad didn't want her there.
"Of course it is sweetie. I was just surprised that's all." He was about to tell her that he had company when Ellen popped up behind them.
"Hi Talula. It's good to see you." Ellen spoke as she entered the hallway. She didn't approach them, instead she kept a little distance between them and stood leaning against the wall leading into the livingroom she just came from.

Talula was shocked when she heard a female voice greet her. And even more shocked when she looked up to see Ellen. She looked a little messy and was wearing clothes she'd never seen before. Ellen was always so put together now she was the opposite. "Oh hi Ellen. Didn't know you were here." She said.
Tal tried to sound happy to see her but it came out as a fake greeting. Truth was she was horrified because her mom obviously didn't know Ellen was here and it looked like she just walked in on a big secret. Those facts along with her dads confession in Italy made her heart sink with disappointment.

"Yeah, she came over earlier so we were just hanging out and catching up." Patrick stated. Making sure Ellen didn't have to take this part of the conversation. He didn't really think Talula would say anything else but oh how wrong he was.
"Hanging out!?" T started to raise her voice. Not yelling but not speaking softly either. "Hanging out looking like that?" Tal pointed to Ellen and looked at her up and down.

Ellen panicked because she could see that Talula knew there was more to this now. But before she could speak, or Patrick could respond Talula continued... "Mom and the boys had to take an earlier flight. They are going to be here any minute so you..." she was glaring at Ellen "...need to not be here."
"Talula!" Patty said and raised his voice a little. He loved his daugther but he didn't like how she was speaking to Ellen right now. Even if he sort of understood why.
"No Patty it's okay. I'll leave. I need to get home anyways." Ellen interrupted and walked towards them.

"It was nice to see you again Tal." Ellen smiled at her trying her best not to let the way Talula spoke to her effect her. "And i'll see you. Good luck with filming." She turned to Patrick to say. She gave a sweet smile but tried not to show too much emotion behind it. "Bye El, have fun in Vegas." Patty replied smiling back. They both knew they would need to talk later but it was better to leave that unsaid infront of Tal.
Patrick kissed her cheek and Ellen walked out of the house. Talula rolled her eyes at the kiss and simply said "Bye" with a cold tone.
