I knew of the monsters that slept under your bed at night. I knew of the dangers I faced fighting them alongside The Winchester brothers. That one day, I would die going out in a blaze of glory.

But I never really expected to die fighting. Hell, I put myself in the most dangerous situations imaginable. Situations that I should have died in. And yet, I always came out strong. Like a mighty hero. Like I was protected by plot armor.

Except heroes don't get into car crashes. And I didn't know it would be her brother that put me in the coma. And that right after, it was like he didn't know anything.

I had been surrounded by machinery keeping me alive. Which sucked ass, but thanks, I guess. I could see Sam limping into my room, shaking his head in disbelief. For a moment, I panicked, not seeing Jen walking up next to him. But I peered out of the door, seeing her sitting in a chair in front of her brother, stating blankly.

"Jen?" I frowned, kneeling in front of her and snapped my fingers. She couldn't see me.

No body could.

...

Several Hours Ago...

Jenny, Dean and John where unconscious. Sam was barely breathing. Maybe it was from the impact of the crash, or maybe it was because he was staring at someone he used to call a friend.

"Mitch?" He breathed, gripping the Colt tightly. 'Mitch' Tilted his head in response.

"That's what you call me. Jenny over there... We'll she calls me her big brother. Or.. Used to." Sam's eyes widened in shock, in too much pain to look at Jenny. "You ain't gonna use that on me either way. Saving that bullet and you can't kill a friend."

Sam's expression hardened, cocking the Colt. "You wanna bet?" He threatened. Nathaniel smirked before the black smoke escaped his mouth and he fell to the ground. He looked dead for a moment before Sam saw his chest rise and fall.

"Dad?" Sam painstakingly turned to look at his dad. He didn't move. "Jenny?! Dean!" Sam's voice trembled in fear before he saw John's phone. He slowly reached for it.

...

All five of them were carried onto a helicopter, abandoning the car and taken to the nearest hospital, where Jenny and Dean were taken care of first since they appeared to have lost more blood.

Sam was patched up quickly. John was already awake and Jenny was slowly coming to, stitches lining the top of her chest. A scar would definitely be left but that wasn't her biggest worry.

Sam sat in her bedroom, teary eyed as she listened to her stir awake. Jenny groaned in pain, glaring as the bright lights of the hospital room blinded her. "Jesus... Sam?" She looked at the young Winchester, who sat up quickly.

"Jenny. Oh thank God, you're awake." He scooted the chair closer, Jenny's hand reaching for her face. "Do you remember what happened?"

"No... No I— I can't remember anything." Her voice was hoarse, and she continued to feel every bandage on her face. "What happened?"

"A car crash." Jenny's eyes widened immediately, ignoring the pain as she shot up.

"Is Dean okay?" Sam gave her a wary look.

"John is okay." Sam said softly, Jenny frowned.

"John? He's here?" Sam's expression softened, looking at Jenny.

"Jenny... He's been with us this whole week." She shook her head.

"No. No he just left. He left to go kill Meg." Sam shook his head, sitting on the bed.
