Jenny stared at Madison's door, and Dean stared at Jenny, whose hand was raised to knock, but hesitated. After a moment, she knocked loudly, and Sam answered.
"How you doin'? My head feels great, thanks. Oh, by the way, thanks for not attacking Jenny." Dean snapped at Madison, whose eyes widened.
"We've gotta talk." Sam told Jenny and Dean, dragging the two in another room. Jenny was visibly uncomfortable standing in the house, rocking back and forth with her arms crossed. Sam stared at her for a moment with a solemn expression, sighing quietly. "She says she has no idea what I'm talking about."
"She's lying." Dean snapped, scoffing.
Or maybe she really doesn't know she's changing, you know? Maybe – maybe when the creature takes over, she blacks out."
Dean deadpanned, humming. "Like a hot Incredible Hulk. Come on, dude, she ganked her boss and her ex-boyfriend. That doesn't sound rash and unconscious."
"Yeah, but what if it was, Dean? I mean, what if some animal part of her brain saw both those guys as threats? Hell, the cop, too." Sam argued, Jenny still quiet as she thought.
"What are you, the Dog Whisperer now?" Dean asked, his brother glaring at him.
"Look, man, I just... I don't know, there, there, there was something in her eyes."
"Yeah, she's killing people!" Dean yelled, Jenny snapping back to reality and looked at them.
"But if she has no control over it—"
"Exactly. She can't control it." Dean interrupted, pressing a finger into his brothers chest. Sam looked to Jenny for help, and she stared at him silently for a while.
"If you think for even a second that I will side with you on this, Sam, then you are crazier than Madison thinks you are." Jenny said quietly, and Sam raised his brows in defeat.
"Jenny, she doesn't know what's happening to her."
"And I'm supposed to care? She's killed people, Sam. They may not have been the nicest people, but they didn't deserve to die. Werewolves don't care about feelings. If they see someone as a threat, they're going to kill them. That's how it works." Jenny snapped, fists tight as she spoke.
"I almost died to a monster like Madison before. My parents died to a werewolf. I'm not letting anyone die again."
"I'm not putting a bullet through some girl's chest who has no idea what's happening. And I'm not going to let you do it, either." Sam stepped in the way of Jenny, who stared up at him angrily.
"Sam, she's a monster, and you're feeling sorry for her?" Dean asked, his little brother glancing to him.
"Maybe I understand her."
"You understand the murderous, claws and fangs part of her, Sam? Because from what I remember when you were possessed, it quite literally was not you." Jenny stated, trying to step out if Sam's way, but he only grabbed her, forcing her in front of him.
"Look, there might be another way we can get the job done without having to waste her." Jenny frowned in confusion, looking to Dean.
"Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?" Sam walked over to his bag, opening John's Journal, flipping through the pages.
"Dad's theory – "lycanthropy might have a cure if you kill the werewolf who bit you, severing the bloodline"." Sam read as Jenny scoffed. "What?"
"It's a theory, Sam. A theory that doesn't work. There is no cure to lycanthropy." Jenny stated bluntly. Sam shrugged.
