Jenny pinned a photo of her brother to the motel wall, drawing a large question mark on a sticky note and slapped it to the photo. "Gordon said that my brother was the leader of this group against humans. And Sam and are apart of it." Jenny closed the cap of her marker, turning to Sam and Dean. "We already know that my brother was possessed by the demon that killed your mom and Jess, but that demon le—" Jenny cut herself short, realizing that if she continued, nothing but lies would come out of her mouth.

Sam and Dean noticed Jenny's cut off, frowning at her. "Jen?" Dean spoke, shifting in his chair. Jenny sighed quietly, her shoulders dropping.

"The demon that killed Mary and Jess is trying to find my brother... again." Sam and Dean looked at each other quickly, then back to Jenny.

"What? How do you know that?!" They yelled, standing up as the woman raised her hands in defense.

"My brother has a tiny grasp on the demons abilities and used them to telepathically call me." She answered in a rushed, loud tone, confusing the boys.

"What?" They asked again, frowning.

"Because of how long the demon possessed my brother, when he left my brother, a small portion of his powers stayed. Telepathy is apparently one of them. Nate contacted me a few weeks ago—"

"Weeks?! Jenny, how could you not tell us!?"

"I thought it was a trap! I knew by then that my brother was possessed by the demon that killed your mom and girlfriend! What if he still was and was just pretending to be my brother this whole time?" Dean and Sam looked at one another, and Jenny frowned. "You guys don't really think it's been the demon this whole time.. have you?"

"I mean... He shows up right after the demon does. How could he not?" Dean spoke solemnly, Jenny turning back to the photo of her brother. "Jen, if your brother has been possessed for almost 20 years, there's no way he's still alive." Dean stepped forward, going to place a hand on her shoulder. Jenny stepped out of the way, closing her eyes to stop the tears.

"You're right." Jenny forced a smile, turning back around, shrugging. "Didn't even really know the guy. Don't know why I'm getting so worked up about someone who was never there." Jenny turned back around, walking out the door. Dean and Sam watched her go in confusion, the older Winchester following her out.

Dean looked around for a moment before spotting Jenny on the ground, leaning against the Impala. He walked over to her, noticing her eyes were gleaming but no tears had fallen.

"You know, when my grandma died. I thought that was it for Nate and I. We'd go back to Bobby's, live out our lives as the kids whose family died around them. But... Bobby and Nate never had a good relationship, you know? That's why we never talked about him." Jenny pulled out a flask from her pocket, Dean frowning as he wondered where the hell is had come from.

"He didn't want to go to Bobby's. He was like... 16-18 at the time, so I thought he'd take me on a journey with him." She pressed her lips together and shook her head. "Nope. He ditched me as soon as we got to the police station. Slipped out of my view and I hadn't seen him since."

"Jen—"

"I wanted to believe it was my brother." She interrupted Dean, looking up. "I desperately wanted it to be Nate. And I did— I just... I'd say he played my brother so well... But I don't remember a thing about him." Jenny turned away, taking down the alcohol in the flask. Dean slowly sat down next to Jenny.

"I'm sorry, Jenny. I am. If— If it had been Sam instead of your brother... There's nothing I wouldn't do to make sure he'd be okay." Jenny nodded, turning to Dean.
