Chapter 7; Teasing

She was sitting in her office, going through the list of the people who were selected for the interview to join their company and this was the most stupid work she could think of. Like what can she do about that? Wasn't it done by the people on the lower post?

Yes but ofcourse everything was against her will on that day. Everyone wanted to annoy her.

She didn't talk to anyone this morning and just came straight to her office cause she honestly didn't want anymore taunts thrown by her dad in the morning itself.
She needed time to digest the ones thrown yesterday like, come on.

The whole night was spent thinking where she went wrong, Was taking a small holiday a bad decision, Did it affect the company or was she irresponsible. The simple answer was No. And she just knew it.

She had been working day and night, spending all of those nights in her office instead of her cozy bed, attending meetings abroad even when she didn't like going abroad and when she wanted a small holiday of 2 fucking days, they say ' I don't trust you with my company ' Yes ofcourse...

Your company. YOUR COMPANY?! ' I bet my ass I worked in "Your company" more that you did ' She wanted to say this so fucking bad but no she didn't cause that would just sound too rude and he was her dad so with a little respect, She didn't.

All the things her father spoke that day did not make sense to her till now. So without feeling bad anymore, she just put her everything into the work and planned not to think about it now. Which she was doing at that time ofcourse.

This wasn't the only thing she thought of yesterday though. She thought about whatever happened in the park back then and just couldn't help but think why was he behaving so nice back then, and he even told her the things that she never thought he would.
And by the tone he spoke in, she didn't think it would be a lie. He sounded honest.

Why was Felix shocked about the fact that he slept though? It was something weird and she didn't wanna ask him up why, but would definitely tease him up for sleeping like a baby, the next time they meet.

In the morning, when she woke up, she even got a call from Ian, but she didn't pick that up because she was just not in the mood and knowing that Ian would just show up randomly and even if he didn't, she would just drag him up and tell him everything.

Not getting distracted anymore, she sent the list of the people to her manger, proceeding towards the document which came back translated in English, originally in German.
Boring...

When Nathaniel woke up he was so confused. All he could remember was that he was a little tired from working 3 hours straight and that he needed rest but couldn't sleep.
So he told Felix that he would just roam in the park cause there were less people there at that time.

Walking there for sometime would just make him tired and it would be easy for him to sleep, instead of opening his eyes till they close automatically.
The first option sounded sane.

He was walking when he saw a ghostly figure running around and cussing and he figured who it was.
Who else can it even be? Yes....

He talked with her for sometime, Without fighting, and then he probably slept and he didn't know when. She was telling him why she was angry he had guessed.

But in the morning Felix told him everything, teasing him about how he was sleeping on his enemy's shoulder and sleeping so comfortably like a baby, and how he would've just slept like that till the morning.

I slept on HER shoulder? He cringed.

The thing which came to his mind instantly was that Why didn't she just push me aside and shouted?
