Both Ambrose and Nathaniel had now accepted their feelings for each other. They didn't actually hate the thought of liking each other anymore and all they could ask for was good quality time with each other.

Like right now, as they were snuggled up with each other on Madison's couch and were watching a random movie on the television, it seemed to be a fulfilling moment. The owner of the house wasn't home and they had quite frantically pleaded her to hand them over the keys so they could stay over for a day. Together. Without having to worry about their families.

Madison was a budding artist and she had to fly off for an exhibition in France, her piece being one of the highlights. It was quite an honour for her and her very supportive boyfriend was too glad to accompany her to Paris. Nathaniel would be lying if he said he didn't want to go but he was lately so busy with work and his father wouldn't have allowed anyway so what even remains the point.

However, he was quite content that he was getting to spend some time with Ambrose. It was rarely ever that they got to be together and now that they were, he couldn't be thankful enough.

"I'm hungry." Ambrose suddenly spoke, head peacefully resting on his chest.

"I don't know how to cook."

"Me neither."

The two stared at each other blankly before busting into a fit of laughter. They had both grown up in rich families, always away from the kitchen. It was quite understandable that they knew nothing about cooking.

"Well, what next? Do we go out to eat or you wanna order?" Nathaniel asked, genuinely concerned about their dinner tonight.

"I have an even more interesting idea. We'll make something together!" She yelled in extreme enthusiasm, quickly getting up from her spot and running over to the kitchen after grabbing her phone in haste.

"Wait what?" Nathaniel confusedly followed, surprised by the girl's speed as he saw her in the midst of the huge kitchen, already tying up an apron.

"Are you sure?" Nathaniel asked yet again, leaning against the wall as he stared at the determined one in disbelief.

"Yes. It is going to an eventful dinner." She smirked, motioning for him to walk in once she finished tying up the yellowish apron for herself and went forward to tie another cute baby blue apron around Nathaniel.

"What are we making?" Nathaniel asked once she was done, genuinely perplexed about the whole situation.

"Spaghetti!"

"Gosh, I love it. Are you sure we won't ruin it?" He asked like a small child caught in a dilemma.

"Come on, Nathan. Don't ruin the vibe. Let's do it." She had searched it up on her phone by now and all before her remained the much awaited recipe both of them had no clue of.

They started collecting the pot, the spaghetti, the mentioned vegetables and everything else that was required. After a few good minutes of joking around and struggling to find the items, they had finally assembled it all on the table. Thank Goodness!

"My dad used to make such good spaghetti." Nathaniel spoke, adding a tablespoon of salt to the pot containing boiling water.

"Does he not anymore?"

"Sometimes, but it's rare." There was this weird nostalgic smile on Nathaniel's face, almost reminiscing the goof old times.

"Childhood was so good." Ambrose mumbled after noticing the expression on his face, leaning against the kitchen counter where Nathaniel was working with the pot.
