Chapter 25; Nothing is okay

Things haven't been too well recently for both the CEOs. When Nathaniel entered the office building he was given those judging looks and was the talk of the town recently but who cares.

He couldn't believe he was being talked about just because he likes someone. People are just a lot nowadays.

They knew if the assumptions were not correct, they would've known that till now. But the CEO had mixed reactions which clearly said that it was correct.

Whenever he was spotted near a restaurant or even near his office building, people became hell of a detective wanting to spot Ambrose there.

Newspapers, his social media, everything was just flooded with the questions. His mom and dad were clearly trying to avoid him, even though his mom wanted to talk to him, his dad had clearly restricted that.

Moreover both of them had not met specially just after that one time they met at Ian's just a week ago.

Both of their dads had made sure they were under work pressure, knowing that work still came first no matter what. They were kinda right though.

They were stuck up badly in work and the taunts which were thrown at them like knives. Nathaniel had started to ignore all those words and Felix just made sure he was okay but Ambrose always broke down.

Just like one time when Jonathan called her a disappointment and how he wished she was a guy instead, and yeah he blurted loads of other shit too.

Ambrose broke down that day when Nathaniel called her, worried because she was supposed to be the one calling him after minutes but she didn't this time. So he asked her to meet him at Ian's.

Both the boys made her understand how strong she was and how both of them were proud of her but she just couldn't help but cry. He hugged her for quite a while and cheered her mood up with Ian.
Ian wasn't a bad company though, he actually liked his presence, his mood lifted up with his talks.

Not so important meetings were cancelled by the dads so that they just couldn't meet even in the meetings.
That was all to piss Ambrose off.

She shouted at him that one day saying ' You have no right to do these dirty acts. ' and how he replied saying ' My company Ambrose, don't force me to say things i regret.' yes ofcourse.

Nathaniel asked her to not deal with her dad at that time cause things were just too hot at that time. Jonathan made sure to taunt her in every way possible, even though it hurts she had now made sure to not to listen to their talks.

The media wasn't too good either. They didn't leave a moment to taunt them like those weird ladies in your neighbourhood.

How is your girlfriend Mr. McCoy.
Yeah they said that.

It was just enough for Nathaniel to make sure that guy was fired from his job. At least made sure that he won't see that face again. He still had that power.

Just in between everything he still got calls from Felix. He was kinda worried too.

" McCoy? What's up?"

" Working." he spoke, sighing at the laptop screen which looked as boring as ever.

" I know things are tough McCoy. It is okay, It will be okay." he spoke after sometime, knowing that he was not okay. He just kept thinking of that one thing which always left him worrying.
