You glanced at Yuji as he stayed in front of the gate, unmoving.

"Itadori,"

He blinked, tilting his head to look at you.

"I'm going in."

You pat his shoulder before jumping over the fence, landing on your feet and letting out a small breath of relief.

'Would've been awkward if I falled the landing...'

You ran inside the school, face scrunching up slightly.

'I can hear the curses talking and muttering..'

You ran up the stairs, almost missing a step but thankfully steadying yourself before noticing Megumi standing in front of a curse that was halfway in the process of swallowing two students.

"Fushiguro !"

Megumi snapped his head toward you, eyes widening.

"What are you- why are you here ?! I told you to stay outside !"

"Didn't listen !"

You answered before sliding on the ground, flexing your hand to tear the flesh in the side of the curse as Yuji kicked and broke the window apart before twisting his body and punching the curse from upward.

"Itadori, Y/N !"

Megumi yelled as the two of you bolted away from the curse, his brows furrowing slightly as he noticed the curse having trouble healing the marks your unusual sharp nails left, eye twitching slightly.

"So this is a curse ? Not what I was expecting.."

You nodded in agreement, looking back at Yuji.

"It's ugly."

Then, the curse was effortlessly cut in half by Megumi since it was distracted by the two of you.

"I want to ask you two what you're doing here, but good job."

You stared at Megumi as he praised the two of you before grinning, not noticing how Megumi's eyes darted to your fangs.

"Thanks !"

"Why so haughty ?"

Yuji then raised an eyebrow as you quietly walked closer to the dogs, crouching beside them.

"By the way, what's that munching on the curse ?"

Megumi glanced back at the dog and back at Yuji, only to do a double-take and sweat drop when he saw you patting the shikigami's heads while they ate and wagged their tails.

"...those are my shikigami, so you two can see them, huh ?"

He then looked back at Yuji as you zoned out, cooing at the dogs.

"Good dogs, good dogs."

"..you two are not scared ?"

You stood up, stretching a little and shaking your head.

"Well, I wouldn't say scared for me, I dunno about Itadori.."

You trailed off, waiting for him to speak up.

"Well, I was scared for a bit. But did you know ? People really can die."

You stared at Yuji with a dotted eyes and tilted your head.

'Thanks for stating the obvious..?'

"Huh ?"

Megumi's face scrunched up slightly as he raised an eyebrow.
