I woke up to the comfort of my husband, one arm wrapper around me and the other running through my hair. I love it when he does that...

"Mornin' little duck!" he whispered as I was greeted with a kiss on my temple.

"Mornin' Peeta,"

"So, I really hope it worked. We tried all last night!"

"Yeah," I yawned.

"Way to go with the enthusiasm, Katniss!" he joked.

"What? I'm tired! And hungry!"

"What d'ya want for breakfast then?"

"Anything, I don't mind," I replied.

"Okay, then I've got something special cooked right up my sleeve!" he laughed. I joined in.

I love it when Peeta cooks breakfast, he's the best baker ever besides my mother.

*2 months later*

I hope it goes well. Peeta has been longing for a child for who knowd how long!

"I'm soo excited," I whispered to Peeta, squeezing his hand.

"Me too,"

"Mr and Mrs Mellark?" the nurse called. I stood up and walked with Peeta to the hospital room.

"Oh.My.God." I froze.

"Katniss, you all right?" said Peeta, snapping his fingers in front of me.

"Yeah, I'm just so, so..."

"Shocked?" he finished my sentence.

"Yep! I'm glad we're having a baby! I just wonder whether it'll be a boy or girl,"

*Peeta's POV*

The phone rings. I released my arms gently from a sleepy Katniss and picked it up.

"Hello? Is this Mrs Mellark?" a voice asked.

"No, it's Mr Mellark."

"Oh, okay. We have some news to tell you about your wife."

"Go on..." I indicated the doctor to carry on as I took a sip of water.

"Well, she's definitely pregnant, but with triplets,"

WHAT?

WHAT??!

I choked, trying not to spit all the water, as Katniss is here.

"What sorry?"

"Your wife, she's having triplets,"

This.Is.Bloody.Amazing! But astonishing.

"Sorry. At the hospital we made a mistake. Just to inform you, she'll be having two girls and one boy,"

"Oh-kay, thanks for letting us know,"

"Your next appoinment, well your wife's next appointment is in three weeks."

"Okay, bye," I hung up. I cannot wait to see Katniss' reaction. . .
