I'm afraid I'm gonna have to skip time, but only for this! Probably......soz

PEETA

I sit and wait, thinking, busy being clueless. I decide that it's too much for me so I leave, luckily, Katniss doesn't mind about it.

~an hour later~

"PEETA! I can see you!" Katniss comes running up to me. I catch her and spin her around.

I'm so glad you can see! It's such a great gift to have." I explain.

Katniss agrees, "Me too,"

"Let's go home. It is getting late, I'm tired and sure you are too," I say, smiling at her earthy green eyes. Katniss laughs.

"I am too," she whisper.

We walk home together.

KATNISS

"Uh oh..." I panic in my head. Peeta is coming back to my place with my mother, as we promised and then we'll move out a few weeks later. Problem is, I haven't prepared anything for him yet! And my mother is not at home so I'm stuck without a thankful, welcoming gift to Peeta.

"Welcome to my house, Peeta!" I say, while giggling.

"Thanks. Ladies first, Mrs Katniss Mellark," he smiles too.

We both end up laughing by the time we get inside, away from the cold air, into a warm, comfy atmosphere.

"Come, sit here!" I pat the sofa, while diving onto it.

"OK, Little Duck." he gives me a soft kiss on my lips.

I laugh, "Ha! I've still got lipstick on, now its on you!" Peeta glares, then we both chuckle.

I turn around, and see a small candle light from a different room.

"Hang on, I never bought that...someone is in our house! Oh my days, some sort of burglar is here!" I yell. I am freaking out because I want this perfect day to last us the night as well.

I here footsteps, and jump up.

"Oh phew," I shrugg my shoulders, "it's Annie and Haymitch." I say with a relieved voice, while they wave.

"Peeta, I'm so tired," I whisper into his ear.

"I know Little Duck. Me too," he kisses me.

"Goodnight honey," I say, my voice trailing away as I drift off to sleep.

"Good night bug," he replies.
