I'm sorry, I'll leave now XD

------------

"Goodnight, kid!"

Con ruffled Yan's hair as the younger was about to go to bed.

"Google, Eric, Bing, after you finish your cocoa, you should be heading to bed as well." Dark huffed. Eric nodded, but the androids started whining. "Daaaaad! I'm still on 39%! I don't need sleep!" "You forget that we are androids and have no need for-" Dark cut Google off, "I don't want to hear it! Just like any other device, being left on all the time can be harmful! And you still need to charge! Now quit your damn whining!"

The children went silent, indicating that they were done arguing. "Wait!" Yan stopped before leaving the living room, turning around and facing Con, "where are you going to sleep?" Con shrugged, they really hadn't thought about it. All the guest rooms were taken. Host had taken up the attic when he lived here before, and Dark wouldn't allow that again. And- as much as they hated it- Derek had to stay here, too. "The couch, I guess."

"No. You are our guest and shall be treated better." Dark growled, "you can sleep in my room." Everyone stared at him blankly until he realized what he said. "No, wait! I didn't say he would be sleeping WITH ME! I'll be on the couch!" Con snorted as Yan shot him a suggestive look. "Guys, after all the shit Dark's been through- that you've ALL been through- I doubt THAT'S the first thing on his mind."

"Anyways... No. I'm fine with the couch. I can't just let you- with your old man back- sleep on the couch." Con crossed his arms, implying he wouldn't take any argument. "The Host cuts in to say that neither of you have to sleep on the couch. You two have fallen asleep together before- in the abandoned building- there really isn't a difference. Stop making a goddamn fuss, you two might as well be brothers."

Con and Dark made eye contact... Was that true? They DID tell each other "everything"... Relied on each other... But... Brothers?... Were they THAT close...?

Con smiled and shrugged, "you know what? Sure. And in that case, the cat's coming with us." The cat meowed in agreeance, moving to sit on Dark's lap. Yan snickered, singing as he went upstairs, "their friendship goes beyond~... Your average kind of bond~!" "BECAUSE THEY'RE GAY!" Google called out teasingly, causing everyone to break out in laughing fits.

"What-the-fuck-ever. Fine. This'll work, I guess... Do what you want, cat-lady." Dark chuckled, smirking at his friend. "Oh, fuck off!" Con shoved Dark's shoulder playfully. "The Host smiled at their antics and decided to go to bed, himself. But before doing so, he turned to Con and thanked him for the kind distraction from... Everything. The fear, tension, and grief that hung in the air of this household had been getting overwhelming. Con's presence had lightened that and given the children hope that they would be okay. Sometimes... Distractions are needed." The Host nodded politely to Con and smiled, walking away.

"So... Do you have ANY interests besides paperwork???"

Con gestured to the entirety of Dark's bland room. It was literally just an office with the addition of a bed and wardrobe.

"Over there." Dark gestured to a door shrouded in darkness to the point where Con didn't even notice it at first. Con went over and opened the door curiously. "Huh."

Apparently, Dark's room was connected to some weird ass seance room. Celine's old seance room.

"...How many demons have you summoned? Or am I the sacrifice to summon your first?" Con joked and rose a brow at the crystal ball in the center of the room, despite knowing what this was.

"No, I'm fine with just the one. Now get out of there." Dark closed the door, locking it up. "That room has two doors- is it locked on both sides?" Con wondered aloud as he looked around Dark's room. "Yes, now stop being nosy." Dark yanked Con away from the wardrobe. "BRO! Why haven't I seen you wear this shit?! Host called us brothers, but you have a sweater I've never seen you wear! You're not comfortable enough around me to not wear a suit!" Con pouted, grabbing his cat off of Dark's shoulder. "I disown you."

"What bullshit are you spouting? I'm wearing it right now!" Dark snapped his fingers and was suddenly wearing the black sweater. "Asshat! That doesn't count!" Con grumbled, sticking his tongue out at Dark.

"Yeah, yeah. Just go to bed already."
