Chapter Twenty-Five- Hate

Con sipped at a glass of milk.

He was watching the news while trying to forget about the memories Dark resurfaced. He wasn't mad... And he certainly didn't blame his friend. If he were in Dark's shoes... Any information would be welcomed. But he wished Dark would just shut the fuck up and trust him with this...

He had a plan, after all.

"Hmm... C'mere, kitty~!" He beckoned his cat forward, dabbing a drop of milk on the cat's nose. Con grinned goofily at the kitten, scratching him behind the ear.

He'd do anything to forget.

"THE HOST RUSHES INTO DARK'S ROOM WITH MARK AT HIS SIDE, OUT OF BREATH BUT STILL LOUDLY NARRATING!"

The Host wheezed and burst into the room. Dark looked up from his phone after ending the call, a confused expression on his face. "YOU TOLD HIM?!" Mark yelled, gripping his hair. "Well, yes. He wasn't upset- and I don't remember you being the dictator of my actions." "The Host must remind Darkiplier that he can't get into Con's head- he doesn't know whether the Septic was actually upset or not!" 

"Oh, fuck OFF! After what I just learned... I'm not dealing with your bullshit right now, Mark. Get out." Dark snarled, going to sit as his desk. "Wait, what did you learn?" Mark perked up at that. "...There's a reason he doesn't live with the Septics... They didn't want him." 

"...What?"

Con stared at the Septic fanart.

He had been scrolling through some to get his mind off of things... But then he saw it. 

He glared as he came across some fanart of Antisepticeye.

"...I fucking hate you."

Tears streaked down his cheeks and his breathing hitched. "I hate everything about you..." He curled up into a ball, tossing his phone to the side. No matter what he tried... He'd never forget. He'd never forget that day...

The day he was 'born'.

The cat mewed and nuzzled Con gently, cuddling up to him and blinking at him sympathetically. 

Con took a deep breath, trying to calm himself... But it hurt too much.

It hurt. So. Fucking. Much.

'When will it stop...?'

Evelien sighed, walking into the living room just to see the same scene.

Robbie and Chase were staring at the T.V. as if waiting for ANY kind of good news. BB was in Chase's lap, purring softly, completely oblivious to the situation... But not oblivious to the tension and grief in the air. 

"You guys can't mope in here forever... Are you SURE there's nothing else you can do? Surely Jackie and Marvin weren't our ONLY hope... They're not dead yet, right?" Gab turned off the T.V. and crossing her arms.

"No... Sean would've felt something if they were dead... They're fine... For now." Chase bit his lip, imagining the worst. "Hey, now! That's a GOOD thing! We need to make a plan to save them! Unless you WANT them to die!" Gab cracked a smile.

"What can we do?! Nothing! There's NOTHING we can do!" Chase growled back.

"I'VE FOUND SOMETHING! GAB, COME HERE!" Sean's voice came from the storage closet. Gab sighed and went over. "What's up?" But then she saw Sean's concerned expression.

"...This is bad."

Actor smirked as he watched it all unfold.

"Uh-oh~! Seems like things aren't going your way... Fake hero."

"What do you mean?! All I see is a bunch of bullshite and sentiment!" Jackie snarled, "and the only FAKE hero here is YOU!"

"Oh... You poor fool. Aren't you wondering WHAT Seany-boy found~?" Actor turned to face Jackie, walking straight up to him before kneeling down to be eye level with him.

"...What?" Jackie was a bit curious... But still cautious. Did he WANT to know?

Actor chuckled and rolled his eyes, going back up to the screen. "Heh. I think it's best if you see that for yourself."

"And YOU!" 

Actor turned to you with a growl, yanking you away from a certain screen.

"I suggest you stop poking your nose where it doesn't belong..."

He pushed you away, turning back to his screen with a smug look.

You gave a soft growl, but he didn't hear.

Everything about him...

Everything he DID...

It filled you with HATE.
