Chapter 4

Chapter 4:

*leaving for England*

Megan’s P.O.V

I couldn’t wait to see Aimee again. It’s been nearly two years since I’ve seen her. Mum drove me, Jade and Maire, who was Jade’s mum, to the airport. It was an emotional goodbye as I was going to miss my mum so much. Jade was sad to see her mum go as well. Mum had a sly grin on her face as she said her final goodbye, I was kind of puzzled, I mean I know Jade was excited to see Aimee so I understand it when she acts like the Cheshire cat, but my mum?? I let it go and walked towards security with Jade.

Yesterday, we had a goodbye party at the stables, everyone acted like we were never coming back, not like we were going for a month. As I said before were all like one big family though so it’s sad when we won’t see someone for such a long time. I was going to miss them all so much, thank god for phones and social networks!

Jade’s P.O.V:

I was super excited with the fact that I wouldn’t have to keep the secret from my best friend for much longer. Yesterday, when Megs was helping Mary, me and Carole told everyone why we were going to England, they all got super excited and were sworn to secrecy until we came back.

Me and Megs boarded our flight and within two hours we had landed in Birmingham and had met Aimee at the airport, it was so good to see her!

Megan’s P.O.V:

It was amazing to see Aimee again, she too acted like the Cheshire cat, or maybe it was my imagination? We heaved our suitcases into Aimee’s Land Rover and drove to a hotel.

Aimee came to Birmingham that day as she had a small show on where she was jumping some of her younger horses getting them used to competing. She arrived a few days early so the horses would settle in.  We unpacked and it was still only two o’clock. We went and met Aimee’s travelling head girl, Emma, and went to the show grounds to check on the horses.

O to the M to the G! Her horses were magnificent! Aimee & Emma introduced us to the horses and we mixed their evening feeds and went back to the hotel.
