Chapter 40

*A few days before Christmas*

Megan’s P.O.V

This last week or so had been amazing; I had been spending loads of time with my friends and family. I had been down to the stable loads but I wasn’t allowed to stay down because of my rib. I hated having a broken rib! I couldn’t ride and mum was wrapping me in cotton wool! It had been two weeks since the hospital for another two weeks and it should be completely healed. It was feeling a lot better and it wasn’t hurting as much.

It was Christmas in three days and I was so excited. I had done all my Christmas shopping and I had helped mum decorate the house. My favourite part of Christmas was bringing down all the decorations and finding really cool ones that you forgot you had.

Jade, Bella and Chloe were all coming around to my house for a sleepover tonight. I couldn’t wait to hang out with my girlies. Our sleepovers were always the best. I was on my laptop on twitter and facebook doing the regular bits and pieces when I was on my facebook timeline. A picture of Union J popped up. It was an advertisement, Union J were performing in a hotel in my town. I was really surprised that they had booked Union J because no one famous ever comes to our town. This was going to be fun, I don’t think I’ll go, I can’t stand screaming fangirls, I’ve had enough of them outside the hotel. I was going to text the boys to see if they were actually coming or whether it was just spam. I texted Jaymi, knowing he would reply the quickest “You able to chat? Megs xx” . Within seconds my phone started to ring, I picked it up straight away.

Jaymi: omg, are you okay Megs? What’s wrong? *panicked voice*

Me: Woaaah, Calm down Jaymi, nothing’s wrong I just wanted to ask you something.

Jaymi: Shoot

George: *in the background* HEY MEGAN!

Me: Hey George. Anyways, is it true that you guys are playing a gig in my hometown?

Jaymi: I don’t know the name of your town, how awkward is that?

Me: It’s cool, but have you got gigs on the 3rd of January.

Jaymi: Yeah, I remember the name of your hometown now! Yay! We’re going to see you before tour rehearsals!

Me: You guys can stay at my house if you want; I have a free house for a few nights then.

Jaymi: *squeals* I’m so excited, we can so, watch movies in our oneises and eating popcorn

Me: *giggles*

Jaymi: That sounded really gay didn’t it?

Me: Yup!

Jaymi: I have to go, me and the boys have a show in G-A-Y tonight, I tell them the good news. I can’t wait to see you *laughs*

Me: Have fun, smash it like always. I’m so excited! Love you!

Jaymi: Love you Megs, Bye!

I couldn’t wait to see the boys, it was going to be so much fun, I missed them loads even though it has only been two weeks since I’ve seen them. I messed about on my computer for another hour or so until the girls arrived.

*Christmas Day*

I woke up this morning at 8 o clock; I was so excited for Christmas! I’m such an eight year old when it comes to Christmas! I ran downstairs and dragged mum out of her bed so we could go inside and open our presents. Money was still tight this Christmas, but I think if your used to having to budget your Christmas presents, you appreciate the little things more. I bought mum a new phone and some bath soaps. She badly needed a new phone she buttons on her old one were fading. Mum bought me clothes and make-up and two onesies. I must have woken the whole towns up with screams of joy when I saw my onesies. One was an eeyore one from Winnie the Pooh, another one was an American flag one. I loved them so much, they were probably my favourite Christmas presents, and I am such a kid.
