Chapter 16

*Second Week*

*Monday*

Megan’s P.O.V:

I am so tired, I’ve only been here a week and the live shows haven’t even started. I saw Carolynn, she didn’t even look at me. Either she still didn’t have a clue who I was or she was ignoring me because, oh I don’t know why she would ignore me, but who knows how someone else’s mind works. Today I had another lonely day, I just sat in my room and played guitar and sang. I logged on to twitter. Woah 5,000 new followers? How did that happen?? I only got through to judges houses as far as the public are concerned and I have gotten 5,000 new followers! While I was on twitter, I followed all of the other contestants and replied to a few tweets. I went down for lunch, after lunch I decided to go swimming.

After I got changed, I walked into the pool and began to swim, it’s been ages since I swam and I was enjoying myself until... “Megan!” I heard someone shout, I recognised the voice as Josh’s. Fudge. I was self-conscious with people seeing me in my clothes never mind in my swimsuit.  I thought all the other contestants we all busy and none of them would be down at the pool. I turned around and saw the Union J boys all in their trunks. They all had fit bodies. Swoon. Stop! They’re definitely all taken, there is no way that they could be single. They were friends and nothing more. “Hey guys” I smiled. “Mind if we join you?” asked Josh. “Uhhm... Sure no problem” I responded. They all jumped into the water with a splash. “Thanks guys” I said rubbing the water out of my eyes when the all resurfaced. I felt someone grab my waist, spin me around and throw me in the water. George. “You’re gonna pay” I grunted. George just smiled “Shame your too weak to lift me” he winked. “I can always do this” I splashed him in the face. He splashed back. In the end all five of us started splashing each other. “Stop, guys, Stop” George grabbed one hand and Jaymi grabbed the other so I couldn’t splash back, then they splashed me and I felt someone grab my ankles. I screamed. All four boys threw me in the air and I landed in the water with an almighty splash. I resurfaced and said “I think I’ll go before I get turned into a volleyball” they boys just laughed and continued messing about with each other.

I went back to my room, got changed and went down for dinner. I saw Melanie and Carolynn eating at a table, Melanie waved me over. Fudge. “Hi Megan, would you like to eat with us?” asked Melaine Carolynn completely ignored my and acted like I wasn’t there. “Uhm, no, I have to go back to my room, I...Um... said I would ring my mum like, 5 minutes ago. I better go, see you later bye” I babbled. Melanie just smiled “Okay then, see you later”. That was so awkward. I was murmuring to myself as I walked back up to my room. “Megan” I heard George shout. I turned around “What’s up?” he asked. His big brown eyes were staring into mine.  “I thought I should go down for dinner, turns out, I’m not hungry” I lied. George just giggled. “Megan, tell me the real reason why you look so flustered”. Damn. I need to become a better actress. I sighed. “I went down for dinner and Melanie was eating with Carolynn, she invited me to eat with them, and I had to make up some petty excuse to leave. Carolynn has been giving me dirty looks since like Saturday. I did not like the idea of having to eat dinner with her” I babbled.  “Just ignore her, Megs, it’s not worth freaking out over. Come down to dinner with me and the boys.” George said. “I can’t, I told them I had to ring my mum and that my phone was in my room, but enjoy your dinner.” I smiled. “Megan, you promised not to skip meals, you do realise that you figure is amazing and you don’t need to diet” George spoke. I nodded. “I’ll get room service later on.” George pulled me into a hug. “See you later Megs”

*Tuesday*

Yesterday was really awkward with Carolynn. I decided that I was going to forget about it. I was in my room playing on my guitar when I heard someone knock on the door. It was probably the Union j boys, they were the only ones who knew which room I was in. I opened the door to see Jade and Lucy standing there. “You’re coming shopping with us!” Lucy announced. I smiled and grabbed my phone and some money.
