Megan’s P.O.V:

I woke up this morning and headed straight to the studios. We all had to be at the studios for 10:30 but sometimes we would just sit around, it depended what time we had sound check. I don’t know why we had to sound check so many times. They probably don’t want anything going wrong on the live shows.

When I was in the canteen for lunch, it suddenly hit me, that today, is my birthday. I smile began to grow on my face. “Why are you so happy?” Jaymi slide into the seat beside me. I couldn’t tell him it was my birthday. “Eating in here, reminded me of my secondary school days, the craic we had in the canteen” I smiled at the memories. “You took crack?” Jaymi questioned. “What? I never said that!” I said. “You said ‘the crack we had in the canteen’ why didn’t you tell us you took drugs?” Jaymi questioned.  I just laughed; the boys looked at me with a confused face. “You don’t understand, ‘craic’ is Irish slang for fun. We also use the word ‘banter’. Because I’m over here, I don’t use the slang much, because I know you guys don’t understand it. I guess I just forgot” I giggled. The boys all just nodded. “So you don’t take drugs then?” JJ asked. “No, I would never touch them” I asked.

After lunch I had sound check with T. It went really well. All the contestants hung about in the green room, before we were called into hair and make-up, two at a time.

I headed to my dressing room to ring the stables. I couldn’t wait to hear their voices and wish Jade Happy Birthday.

Me: Hello.

Everyone: *shouting* Happy Birthday Megan!

Me: Whoa! You guys remembered Thanks so much!

Bella: How could we forget, Jade was reminding us all day!

Me: *laughs* typical Jade. Happy Birthday Jadey babey love you!

Jade: Thanks Megs, ditto.

Me: What prezzies did you get?

Jade: I got a new blackberry.  My number is still the same. What did you get?

Me: Class! I got nothing. I have the chance to become a singer, that present is big enough as it is! Nobody here knows it’s my birthday, and let’s hope it stays that way!

Jade: You have to tell someone, it’s your birthday!

Me: Look, I don’t want anyone here to know; Speaking to you guys is probably the best birthday present.

Conor: Whoa... You want some burger with that cheese? *laughs*

Me: Shut up Conor. You love me really!
