Someone I've always wanted

Claire's POV 

Eileen walked with me to my house after school. I was trying to decide how I was gonna tell her since I KNOW she would be mad at me. She had my at 20 so she wasn't a teen mom so she'll never understand. 

We walked inside and I saw she was on the phone and Scott was watching Blippi. When she got done on the phone, she greeted us

"Hey Claire, hi Eileen" she said as she hugged me 

"Mom, I need to tell you something" I say, shaking. She sat down on the couch and I say next to her and turned to face her, Eileen sat next to me "I'm..." I sighed and Eileen grabbed my hand "I'm pregnant" I finally got out. My mom just stared at me like Henry did 

 "Really?" She said finally

 "I'm sorry" is all I could get out

 "With... Henry?" She said

 "Yeah, but he already broke up with me" I said

 "I... I can't believe it" she said

 "And Eileen has been a really good friend because she's going through the same thing" I said

 "Really... You're pregnant Eileen?" She asked

 "Yes, about 4 weeks" she said, putting a hand on her stomach

"Wow, I'm so glad you're not alone, but why? When?" She asks

"About 3 weeks ago and I took a test twice and both were positive" I said, she was about to cry "are you mad?" I knew the answer because of her face, but I still asked

"I'm upset and disappointed, but I'm not at the point where I'm mad yet" she says "I think you've been punished enough... Pregnancy isn't easy" she says

"I know, but I'm not getting rid of it" I say, I'm not a fan of abortion and I'm not doing that to my child. 

"I love you and I always will love you, even if you make stupid mistakes like getting pregnant" she adds and it makes me feel a little better

 "Thank you mom, I'm gonna love this child as much as you love me" I say and we hug. My mom starts tearing up and it makes me cry a little.
