Claire's POV
I got Zealand in his Ketchup costume and I put him in his new Fisher price jumperoo. I got dressed in my crop top and shorts and Zealand was bouncing and having fun in his new toy. Eileen came to my house and Neo was dressed as Mustard to match Zealand.
We went around the neighborhood and showed off our cute little babies. Zealand would smile at everyone and Neo stuck his tongue out at everyone.
After we went trick or treating, we went to a small Halloween party and Eileen had to force me inside. I didn't wanna see Hayden and Henry again. We went inside and I prayed that they weren't here, but my luck was off and I say both of them in the corner, making out and I covered my eyes and turned around. I guess Zealand saw that I was upset because he took my hand away from my eyes and hugged me, I almost cried of happy tears as my baby boy was getting so big.
"Are you ok?" Eileen asks, handing me a cup of punch
"Yeah, I'm good" I say, staring at Hayden and Henry, she looks at them
"Oh, it's them, isn't it?" She asks and I sigh and not "don't let them get to you" she says and I smile
"I won't" I say and I turn around and sit in a chair and set Zealand on my lap. He loved the music, he was dancing around and laughing, everyone awed at him and I chuckled at my silly boy.
We danced and had some punch and just overall had a good night, until Hayden comes up behind me
"Hey Claire" she says
"Leave me alone" I tell her
"I couldn't help but notice that you saw us making out, am I right?" She says and I nod
"So?" I ask
"Are you jealous?" She asks
"No, why would I be?" I ask
"Because your ex is dating your ex best friend" she says and I scoff
"I don't care" I tell her and she looks at me like I'm stupid
"Ok, whatever" she says and walks away "by the way, I'm pregnant with Henry's baby" she says and my jaw drops
"You're kidding, right?" I say and she shakes her head
"Nope, found out last night, Zealand is gonna have a half sibling" she says, smiling
"Only biologically, he will never know Henry is his father and he's not gonna know he has a half sibling" I say and I storm off, crying.
I run out of the party while Eileen chases after me
"Hey, you forgot your diaper bag" Eileen says and I stop
"Thank you, I'm sorry I walked off" I said, grabbing it and putting it on my back
"What's going on?" She says and I dry my eyes
"Hayden's pregnant" I say and she draws a blank "with Henry's baby" I look down and she grabs my shoulder
"Thats... I'm so sorry you have to go through this" she says and she hugs me
"I wish this could all go away" I say "I can restart and this to never happen" I add
"But then we never wouldve met" she says, then looks at Zealand, who is sleeping on my chest "you wouldn't have Zealand" she smiles and I look down at him
"You're right" I smile, but then I frown "but I don't want Hayden to have Zealand's sibling" I say
"I know, but we'll get through this" she says "together" she adds and I cheer up.
