Claire's POV
Ezra and I have been dating for almost a month and Zealand LOVES him, he literally loves Ezra and I love seeing them together, Ezra is so good with Zealand and just loves playing around with him, they are so goofy and it makes my heart melt knowing that Zealand now has a guy in his life that treats him like his own kid.
Ezra goes on occasional dates, it's really hard to have alone time when I have a son to look after, but we sometimes bring Zealand with us to casual dates like to Dave n Busters or to a more casual restaurant.
I invited Eileen over to hang out since we don't hang out that much anymore since I'm dating Ezra. She's not mad that I don't hang with her as often because she loves seeing me happy and I sometimes she even offers to baby sit Zealand when Ezra and I hang out, I am so thankful to have a great best friend.
I noticed Hayden was still doing bump dates on YouTube even though her videos never get that many views or likes, the most likes she's gotten was 25 and that was on her gender reveal post... Oh yeah, by the way, she's having a boy, though I really don't care because I don't talk to her anymore since she stopped going to school at 3 months. Her baby is due in July, I am gonna continue to watch her videos since technically this baby is related to my baby biologically.
"I can't believe Zealand is gonna have a half brother" I say, Eileen and I were painting our toe nails
"Why do you watch her videos?" She asks
"Because her baby is related to Zealand and I wanna see what happens" I say, I grab the red nail polish and start painting my toes
"I guess, but I wouldn't care if Greg has a baby with someone else since it wouldn't effect me" she says, she was painting her nails rainbow while I was just doing mine red and pink "tbh, he probably has gotten another girl pregnant" she adds and I shrug
"It wouldnt effect me, but it's still good to see how this baby looks when it's born" I say and Eileen smiles
"Zealand doesn't even look like Henry" she says "other than his eye shape and lips" she adds, looking at Zealand who was playing on the floor "Neo looks like Greg more than me" she says, looking at Neo who was also playing on the floor.
Neo stands up and throws a toy at me and knocks over the red nail polish. Eileen stands up and grabs wet wipes off the counter and helps clean it
"I'm so sorry " she says "he's never done that before" she adds while wiping the mess
"It's ok, he didn't know better, my mom won't care, their babies" I tell her and she continues wiping the mess and I help wipe it up
"I'll buy you a new sofa cushion" she says and I laugh
"It's fine, it's already a mess anyway" I tell her "he doesn't know any better" she stops wiping "it didn't even leave a stain" I add
"That's a relief" she says "I still feel bad, if you want us to leave, I would understand" she says, picking Neo up
"Hey, my kid has done worse, don't beat yourself up about it" I say and she sighs
"Thank you, I'll watch him better" she says
"He'll be fine" I say smiling at him "he's just a cheeky baby" I tickle his toes "I think my toes are dry" I say, looking at my toes and putting my socks on "wanna hang out outside, where they cant do too much damage?" I ask and she nods.
We go outside and I put a blanket down. We sit down on it and watch the sun start to go down
"I have a present for you" she says and I smile
"What's the occasion?" I ask and she rolls her eyes
"Just close your eyes" she says and I do so, she places something in my hands "ok, open your eyes" she says and I look at my hands and I see she put a small box in my hands "open it" she says and I open it
"Two tickets to the new live Paw Patrol musical" I say and she nods
"Next week at the theater" she says and I hug her
"Our kids are gonna love this" I say and she agrees "thank you Eileen" I say and she smiles
"It was no problem, I've been wanting to see this" she says and I nod
