Later that night, February 14th

Claire's POV

I got dressed up in a short red dress and I put my hair in a pretty bun and put makeup on. I put Zealand to sleep and laid him in his crib and told Alice to keep an eye on him and to tell mom if anything happens.

Ezra picked me up in a blue jeep and I got in the passenger seat. We went to a seafood restaurant and he bought me sushi. We talked and we asked each other questions and stuff like that. I eventually got to the question I was avoiding

"Do you think of me any different knowing that I have a son now?" I ask and he smiles

"No way, you're so strong for raising him by yourself" he says and I smile back at him

"That's nice to know, but if we were to be in a relationship, would you be ok to have a step son or raise a kid that's not yours?" I ask and he grabs my hands

"Of course I would be ok to raise Zealand with you, I don't care if you have a kid or not, I just wanna be with you and love you in a way Henry couldn't" he says and I cry as that was the nicest thing someone's ever said to me.

After dinner, he drove me home and opened the door for me. I stepped out and I wrapped my arms around his neck and he puts his hands on my waist and kisses me passionately.

"Good night" he says and I smile

"Good night, Ezra" I say back and I walk inside.

I sit down and take my heels off and Mom comes to me and sits down

"How'd it go?" She says smiling

"It went great" I tell her

"Good, Zealand's been asleep the whole time" she says and I smile

"That's good, he was a tired boy" I say and Mom nods "I'm gonna take a shower" I say and I go to the bathroom. After my shower, I go upstairs and I see Zealand, sleeping peacefully and I smile at him "I love you my sweet boy" I tell my sleeping son and I get in my bed and go to sleep with a big smile on my face.
