Claire's POV
My baby boy is 7 months today. We got dressed for school and I set him on my bed and took some pics of him. I decided to post them on Instagram (above) and then my mom took me and Eileen to get some quick breakfast at McDonald's after she took Alice and Scott to 1st grade and PreK. She dropped us off and we went inside school. We went to our lockers and I saw Iris crying by the lockers.
"What's wrong, where's Henry?" I ask her
"He broke up with me" she tells me "he's with a new chick" she adds
"Who?" I ask and before she could answer, I saw Henry and... Hayden! I just saw her yesterday, why is she with Henry?
"That bitch stole my man" Iris says "our old best friend stole Henry" she cries louder
"Hang on, Hayden!" I give Zealand to Eileen and start to walk over to them, but Eileen stops me
"Don't do or say anything you'll regret later" she says
"I just wanna talk to her" I say and she lets me go. I walk over to Hayden and I pull her aside
"Oh, hey Claire, what's up?" She smiles at me
"What do you think you're doing with him" I say, pointing at Henry
"I'm dating him" she says
"My ex? The father of my baby?" I say and she shrugs
"Why not?" She asks
"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask her
"I didn't think I needed your consent" she says
"You're my best friend, you could've told me" I say calmly and she shakes her head
"I'm sorry, I didn't think it was a big deal" she says, sarcastically and I scoff
"I thought we were friends, but you're becoming a jerk" I start to walk away
"Fine, I guess we're not friends" she says and goes back to Henry. I go back to Eileen and Iris and she knew I was really mad
"You don't need that kind of energy in your life" she says "you still have me" she adds and I smile
"Yeah, it's just... Hayden was my best friend since 3rd grade, we were just hanging out yesterday" I say
"I know, people change though" she says
"Please don't change" I beg her
"I'm not going anywhere" she says "we have kids to raise" she laughs and I giggle
"That's true" I smile and she hugs me with two babies in her hands. I take Zealand from her and we walk to homeroom.
After homeroom, I see Hayden and Henry making out and I just look away and keep walking. Some person I thought I knew. We head to 2nd person but I have a sudden feeling of throwing up, so I head to the bathroom and I gently drop Zealand on the bathroom floor and I throw up in the toilet.
"Claire?" Eileen asks as she walks in. She sees Zealand on the ground, smiling at her and she sets Neo next to him and walks in my stall as I throw up again "what's going on, Claire?" She asks and I cry
"I feel so sick" I tell her and she hugs me
"Do you want me to take you to the office?" She asks
"No, I'm ok" I say
"You don't sound ok" she says
"Its... I saw Henry and Hayden making out and I got so upset I felt sick" I admit and she pats my back gently
"Are you sure it's that?" She asks and I nod "are you ok?" She asks
"Yes, let's go to class" I say, standing up. I pick Zealand up and Eileen grabs Neo and we walk to class.
