Someone I've always wanted

Claire's POV 

My mom drives me and Eileen to my doctor appointment and the whole way, Scott kicks and screams 

 "MCDONALD'S!" And the whole time, my mom yells back

 "After we drop sissy off!" and that's how it goes. After we arrive, we walk inside

"Do you have an appointment?" The lady at the desk asks

"Yes, Claire Hayes" I say " it's my 3 week appointment" she smiles at me

"That's exciting" she says "you can have a seat over there" she points to the seating area

"Thank you" I say. We sit down and almost a minute later, the doctor calls my name, we follow her into her office and I sit down on the table and Eileen sits in the chair

"Are you her significant other?" She asks Eileen

"Oh, no, I'm just her friend" she says. The doctor took some tests and stuff

"It's too early to do an ultrasound, but the baby seems fine" the doctor says

"Thank you" I say and we leave. I text my mom to pick us up and Eileen asks me if I wanted to go shopping with her, I ask my mom to drop us off at the mall.

"Yeah, that's fine, but I gotta hurry so I can put Scottie down for his nap" she says and we get in the car.

We do a little bit of shopping, then we stop at the food court and get some lunch. I get a new phone charger and a few outfits (like 8 or 9) and some new heels. Eileen gets some clothes and stuff like that. After shopping, my mom comes and picks us up and drops Eileen at her house. 

We go home and I play a little with Alice and Scott and then I get really sick all of a sudden, but it's just pregnancy symptoms, I was ok after a while.
