Okay, I will admit that carrying her bag was not fun at all; I watched her put some things in there, small things may I add, but it was heavy as hell. I’m not Batman, although that would be pretty cool, I’m not. It felt like she had a bowling ball in there. I’ll have to ask her about it later. Looking down at her I smiled, I couldn’t help but do that that was the most I could do at the moment because I was trying to keep myself from kissing her. That’s what I really just wanted to do at the moment but the truth is I didn’t even know if she liked me.

And to be honest, I think I love her.

I looked up making sure that I was still walking in the right direction, once I saw the tour bus I looked back down at her. She had her head tucked into my neck, whether she was sleeping or not I couldn’t tell. Her black hair was covering her face, the red tips weren’t just red, and they were almost like a dull red but had some color into it bringing some life to it.  Her skin was just pale white and that was what scared it me. It was that type of white that you only saw when somebody was, dead. And the fact that she barely weighed anything, it felt like I was just carrying air as if that’s what she was made of, just air.

“Don’t forget that she used to cut too,” I swallowed hard as I remembered that as well. Looking at her arms she didn’t have the lace she wore yesterday on and no cover up so you could see the scars that had danced on her skin at one point in time. But it’s her badge of honor, of trying so to be strong for so long, and only finding this as a way of escape for her. As terrible as it is, it was her escape from what was happening.

Not everyone can be strong forever, sooner or later they crumble down, whether they found the strength to pick them up and stop or stay on the ground waiting or searching for something. For some type of hope or help; for that beacon of light in the darkness that surrounded them for so long.

“Hey it’s Andy! And he brought the girl that he saved the other day.” Rolling my eyes I watched as Ashley walked out of the bus as soon as I knocked on the door. I looked down at Raven and saw that she had took her head off of my neck and was looking back and forth at Ashley and me.

“Surprise,” I said. She was getting ready to say something when we both heard screams coming from the bus. Jake, CC, and Jinxx were screaming my name.

“Dude, where the hell have you been, Ash wouldn’t say a thing when you finally answered him.” Jake asked. Before I could answer I heard a squeak as if there was a mouse here. Looking back at Raven, her face was pink as she tried to hide behind my neck and into my shoulder.

“Since when are you shy?” I whispered,

“Since I meet new people who don’t know me,” she whispered back. I smirked and just shifted her so that she was airborne for a couple of seconds. Raven quickly wrapped her arms around my neck causing me to laugh.

“Everybody, this is Raven, Raven this is Jake, CC, Jinxx, and Ashley.” I put her on the ground thinking that she would talk to everyone, but I was wrong. She ran behind me and held onto my shirt, hiding from the others. “She is also very shy apparently.” I added. Thankfully the others laughed as I tried to coax her out from behind me. I finally gave up and just wrapped my arms around her thin waist and picked her up, plopping her in front of me keeping me arms wrapped around in case she tried to hide again.

“Now say hi to the boys,” I whispered into her ear.

“Hi boys,” Raven whispered, giving a small smile and wave. The boys smiled and pulled her out of my grip, each giving her a hug and saying hi. Well, except for CC of course. He picked her up and spun her around.

“HI RAVEN, MY NAME IS CHRISTEN COMA BUT EVERYONE CALLS ME CC, THERE’S NO NEED TO BE SHY, WE DON’T BITE EXCEPT FOR ASHLEY.”  We all started laughing even Ashley. One would think that he would set her down after all this, but with this being CC he runs into the bus with her leaving all of us out here. Looking at each other we ran towards the door and started banging on it.

            “CC let us in!”

“CC, don’t scare the poor girl, she’s already shy!”

            “Come on dude, I’m hungry.”

We had been banging on the door for five minutes, and with those five minutes we would hear the occasional ‘Never!’ come from CC, and both of their laughter. Once he opened the door I pushed myself through the door and ran onto the couch we had in here.

“Andy, you’re squishing me.” I was breathing heavy at this point so not wanting to really move, I just pushed myself so that I was behind Raven. I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her against me that her back was against my stomach and used her head as a pillow.

“Hello,” I said, lifting my head as she turned onto her back.

            “Hi, feeling comfortable?”

“Very, this head you have is so soft.”

“Thanks, I try my best so that it is soft.” She giggled at our weird conversation. Ashley and CC walked into the room just as I kissed her forehead and nose.

“Have a day off and the man gets so laid that he’s in love,” Ash said, setting his cowboy hat on. I flipped him off as Raven started laughing. I rolled my eyes and took the pillow that CC threw at us and put my head on it.

“Raven, your boyfriend is being a dick.” Ashley said. I felt my cheeks turn pink when he said boyfriend.

“What am I supposed to do about it; it’s a part of who he is. And he’s not my boyfriend.” She said the first part out loud to Ash who laughed, but whispered the last part. My heart fell a little bit. I’ve been kissing her and never once asked if she wanted to be my girlfriend. Well, I better fix that. I’ll do it later when we’re alone.

“Andy, can we get that breakfast you promised me?” I looked at Raven who raised an eyebrow at me.

“Do you mind going out with the others?”

“Nope, I think it would be funny to see how CC acts out in public after his hug.” I grinned and looked at CC.

“Tell the bus driver to drive us to the nearest diner for breakfast.” I told him.

“Aye eye caption,” I rolled my eyes once more and laid my head back on the pillow. Raven turned her head towards me and quickly looking to see if anybody was watching, I kissed her once more. Pulling back I pulled her closer to me as she smiled and turned back to the conversation at hand.

This isn’t a bad way to start a morning at all. Hopefully we don’t die with CC being behind the wheel.
