Terrified...

I think a week and some days have passed already...they don't feed me or give me anything to drink. They curse me and abuse me like I'm a rag doll.

I mean seem weak and pathetic right now...but I feel broken.

Dahlia said that they were doing their best but...my spirit has successfully been broken by these people.

I haven't seen any of their faces because I have had it on since I was first taken. Dahlia hasn't left my side this whole time, but after some time, I stopped answering her.

I couldn't keep talking to her for some reason.

I heard them talking a few days ago, they talked about how we would use a teleportation scroll to get away faster. And they didn't lie, they used it two days ago, I think.

Whatever type of rope they used to tie me with, it cut off my magic.

They even put shackles around my feet that made me feel like they drained all of my magic. I'm tired but scared to sleep.

I'm starving and dehydrated, my lips are chapped to the point that they bleed if I even move them in the slightest way.

I'm in a cold cell right now, waiting for them to do literally anything.

[Aconitum? Please answer me.] Dahlia says to me.

[...I'm here D.] I say to her hesitantly.

[I am so sorry! I am so so very sorry!] She cries out, I can even feel her pain and sadness through our connection.

A few tears slip down my cheeks as I rest my head on the wall next to me.

[Its not your fault, D. We both know that.] I say weakly.

I haven't told her about how they aren't feeding me or giving me any water. They only come down here to beat me, and I've become numb to it...

I've become numb to all of their hits.

All of their lunches and kicks, every last slap and hateful word that they spit at me.

[Why do you sound so tired right now, T? How far away are you? Did they put magic restraints on you? You sound so far away right now?] She asks me.

I let out a short laugh and listen as it echos in this cold cell.

[Yeah, they put magic restraints on me, D. And I don't know how far away we are right now because they use a teleportation spell or scroll some time ago.] I say to her.

[Oh T...] She says, her voice filled with sadness.

[Its okay...I'm just a little tired but I'm too scared to sleep. I had some sleep...maybe...two days ago. They knocked me out before we teleported. And I slept before that.] I say to her truthfully.

I can practically feel her shaking her head as she sighs sadly.

[What have you eaten? No- have you even eaten or had anything to drink yet, T?] She asks me.

I tiredly shake my head before replying.

[You're too smart for your own good, D.] I say with a dry and tired laugh.

I feel her pain through our connection, even though it's weak right now, I feel it.

[It should've been me-] I immediately cut her off.

[No! Don't you dare ever say that again, D! Don't you dare even think like that! Don't even think that we won't see each other again because as soon as these restraints are off, I'll give you the biggest signal that I can. No matter how long it takes or how far I have to travel, I'll see you again.] I say to her.

Tears streamed down my face as I say all that, even thinking about not seeing her or my family again terrified me the most.

It scares me more then these dirty bastards ever can and will.

[Y-yeah...okay. And when I see you again, I'll feed you until you never wanna eat again! I'll even go horse riding with you without mom or dad! We'll skip our classes everyday until mom is giving us both after desert toppings!] She says as she laughs, making me laugh too.

[Yeah...I'll turn you into a rebel like me. But, I don't think you have enough money to feed me until I never wanna eat again. I am always hungry.] I tell her.

[Yeah, you're right, I'll need to borrow some of your money for that.] She says and we both laugh some more.

[But I-] I get cut off as I hear footsteps approaching my cell.

"Look here boys! She's still alive." One of them yells and they all laugh as I hear the cell door being opened.

[Aconitum what's wrong? What's happening?!] Dahlia asks me in a panicked voice.

[I-I have to go, D. I have some visitors.] I say before I cut off our connection.

I feel someone roughly grab my chin as they turn my head side to side, as if they are inspecting my face.

"What do you think?" One of them says.

Am I getting sold?

Damnit! I wish I could see or at least know what's going on right now! But, I have to get out of here the second I get the chance.

Dahlias waiting for me...

"I think that she'll be perfect." The one holding my face says with an ugly laugh.

Perfect for what...?

"Let's get her out to the field then, she should be ready for the dogs if she's survived this long. He's gonna love her." One says as they all cakle.

I'm grabbed by my hair and lifted off the floor, I don't fight them because I know that'll only make it worse.

"Oh yeah...he's definitely going to love her." The one who's holding me by my hair, says.

Who's 'he'?

My bare feet are dragged on the cold and hard floor as they walk out of my cell and down a long hallway before my feet start hitting the steps of stairs.

My feet hitting dirt and rocks, no grass or anything soft, but only rough things.

Suddenly, I'm thrown on the ground roughly and I hear other people crying around me as more bastards start talking around us.

"I think she's the youngest one here." One of them says as I'm kicked in the side.

"Stand up girl!" One yells as I'm forced to stand up by my hair.

Dirty bastards...I'll kill them all... and then I'll go and find Dahlia because she's waiting for me. She is probably blaming herself but it's not her fault.

None of this is...neither of us knew that this was going to happen to me and if we did, we would've told each other.

"Take off their blind folds!" A commanding and cold voice yells.

I'm guessing that this is the guy that they were talking about. I'm sca- no, I have to be strong and make it out of here.

My blindfold is roughly ripped off and I squint my eyes to adjust to the sunrise.

Has the sky always been this beautiful or had I just been taking it for granted before? It's truly amazing, it's amazing how the colors dance in the sky, letting us know that the sun is coming.

The orange, red and yellow with hints of white because of the clouds...it's truly amazing.

I look around and see that I'm basically in a prison yard, tall fences keeping us in with no signs of life other then the evil bastards around me.

"Welcome to the camp! If you are here now, you've been broken but stayed alive. This is where you become the same thing that took you...a killer." 'He' says.

Oh hell...I was feeling down but everything he just said sounded so cliche.
